I've been browsing looking for ways people have taken on Kawis that aren't 636s. I have a 500R that I'm getting ready to break down. Thank you for the perfect timing!
this is the kind of build i've been waiting for. stock petrol tank and "doesn't have to be perfectly horizontal" rear frame. I have a cb150r that i want to customize, i dont want to change the tank, and the rear frame is already straight but not horizontal. thank you for showing us this build.
Just started working on the same bike without experience. Daunting, but videos like these keep my spirit up. Very nice work, looking forward to the second part.
@@kaaaaaaaaaaaan hahah, thanks for the respond. Still, i have been watching too many of these video's, i will give it a go. Hope you pick your project up aswell :p
@@Max-zm2tl You definitely should go for it! I haven't given up. The bike I bought was in pretty bad shape to start with. With so many things to figure out, it is a bit daunting which makes it harder to get motivated. I hope you have a better time with your project!
There are so many of these bike out there now... I was surprised that I couldn't find any builds like this. The subframe is bolt on, makes it easy to play around. Cheers!
Hey, love what you doing! You gotta finish that ninja. I’m about to buy a 2008 Ninja250. I want to make a scrambler out of it. I’ll probably copy some of what you are doing. Haha. Great chain, great content. Keep it up
Thanks! Ninja is done but ended up needing a new engine... then winter happened, was planning to end part 2 with a ride :( Great bike to work on, plenty of em out there too. Cheers!
hello, when you create the fiberglass saddle base, what do you use to keep the resin from sticking to the film? vaseline, grease or what? thank you very much and congratulations for your work
Awesome work Steve! Nice meeting you today, if you need any more Kz 200 parts in the future I am more than happy to help. I look forward to following your videos Cheers, Peter
Roland Coutcher I still have the seat and nose piece. Side fairings were sold, pretty trashed anyhoo. You’re welcome to what I have left, just pay the shipping. Cheers.
Change in format... Curious what prompted the change? Great vid in anycase and nice to see a build of this type. Question...im in Canada as well and was wondering where you get you seat hoops bent?
The shorter builds I'm gonna keep to 1-2 time lapse episodes. The longer ones like the CB360 will still be episodic. I've used a couple of different guys to get hoops from (US and Canada) but just got my own bender last week. Cheers!
@@Beachmangarage absolutely . Got 1 in my garage to. U know, with usual issues like oil leaks, but the rest is good enough. Thanks to Germany iron craftsmanship. And also still louder than a Harley Davidson....😂
Still waiting for the second part. I enjoyed this video a lot and I'm curious to see the endresult

Did it workout? I think about starting aswell. It feels like a unending project without experience.
@@Max-zm2tl It's sitting in a corner half stripped for a while. I've been lacking the space to work on it. So yeah, it is an unending project :D
