I picked up a very old Sani Dry hand drier (made in Chicago) from a yard sale today for 5 bucks. I was told it worked when it was removed. I haven't put power to it yet but it was filled with cobwebs and the motor and fan turned rather stiffly.
Oh nice. Round top? Maybe a model 8A. I have an 8A and an 8H which are both round tops but the 8H I think was intended as a hair dryer because it has a longer run time. Like 2 minutes instead of 30 seconds and it’s a 230 volt instead of 115 volt. As far as freeing up the motor use some light oil right where the shaft enters the bearing and spin it by hand. It should free up. That motor uses ball bearings on both ends of the shaft. Post a video of it so we can see it.
I’ve seen the RS as well many years ago at a Howard Johnson’s in central Ohio. These and the model D which resembles a model 76 are very rare these days that still function. The model D is the body of the 76 but It used the same internals as the model S. And like the S, they were very powerful.

I found one of these in recessed form known as the RS.
