Ditto on the tailing missions in this game. Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2 absolutely nailed those, where characters would either match your speed, or you could press a button to match theirs. Another thing I'm hoping they improve in the second game is when you're following NPCs on horseback and there's dialogue. The mission where you ride to Neuhof with Bernard, the Band of Bastards DLC, and the quest where you, Hans, and Bernard hunt one of Bernard's robber baron family members all feature horseback dialogue that is really hard to hear unless you're next to the character speaking, and the subtitles are small and only above their head, and the people carrying the conversation are all in different parts of the formation, so you have to keep speeding up and slowing down to actually hear the conversation going on.
Yep, this is one of the only design complaints i have with KCD. Riding scenes should be cutscenes, or semi cinematic like RDR2. That way you can actually enjoy what they are saying, and not just miss it all.
Bro your my favorite youtuber on kcd because you have alot of ideas😄
Mine's Sexy Biscuit but DTG in top ones for sure...
@@Tnk_xdevery other video with sexy biscuit is complaining about mental health I’ve gotten annoyed with her videos lately
@@hunterthomas8579 it's not all the times... Recently she's actually Goin through hard times...
@@Tnk_xd who isn’t, save it for a therapist not RUclips videos about ma video game. It’s made me stop watching
Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoy my KCD content.
One of the things i love so much about The Witcher 3, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is how much your actions and other variables affect the dialogue you will get.
Me too. And i am hoping that will be an area of improvement we see in the second game.
I noticed he made a comment about you being behind him during the hunting competition. I never got that line, since I hunted elsewhere.
Yeah, i always hunt in that area for the rabbits, and sometimes he says that, other times he doesnt.
I like to dress up like Robin Hood for this mission. Always cracks me up to imagine Henry as an expert huntsman and outlaw, hunting with Hans Capon.
I did that for one of my playthroughs. Possibly the playthrough i have on the channel.
Awesome. Love that you're doing this.
Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
Well done! Another great and entertaining Kingdom Come Deliverance video.
Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Well done. A hunt to be proud of.
I think it's the most i've ever bagged in this mission.
4:08 No, not at all, hunting is illegal for commoners, Henry would have to be mad, stupid or both to openly admit to poaching in front of a nobleman 😂
In the game you gain the ability to serve as the master huntsman for Talmberg, which is a position held by a commoner. Also, any commoner could be taken in a hunting party with a nobleman.
Do you know what's the most noble pieces of clothing in KCD... like highest charisma and Conspicuous...
took me hundreds of hours to perfect my formule so i have learned u can even get max charisma with no clothes if u are intersted ill tell you
@@english_tomato ISHOWMEAT charisma..?
Spill the beans...
@@Tnk_xd flower buff from the alchemy tree 2 plus charusma thersa quest 3 plus charisma maintence skills daily bath 1 charisma and using the wenches option at the bathhouse gives you two plus charisma daily haircut gives you one charisma this should be enough to do the job also you can allways use amor potion for that plus 5 charisma
There are a few pieces that stand out. Sometime soon, I'm planning on doing a Noble Armor Guide that will explore all the best Charisma gear pieces.
I am very hopeful that the second game will have more optional dialogue based on the reputation system getting more serious.
I think that is very likely. They made it sound like it will have a much greater impact on your experience.
Hans is the Best.
He is quite good.
Oh man. I wrote this quest and i want to tell you all about the things you don't like about it lol. You are painfully correct :)
Just to be sure: i am hugely proud of what we did here.
Would definitely love to hear about that. My guess would be that it is similar to the problems many writers have encountered when running up against technological or budgetary issues, but i love hearing the details, especially in the "What could have been."
@@Dare_To_Game riding a burning horse while juggling hedgehogs is a good description of the process. Love to talk.
Endgame you want to get shadowmere. Not as fast as jenda, but more pack storage and you don’t stink as fast ☝️ Jenda makes you smell fast
I do really like Shadowmere.
I think the only level of respect you'll get from Hans in this mission is when you kill the cumans and save him.
Yeah, they clearly didn't want your relationship with Hans progressing too fast.
Also it's been literal years since the last time I read a guide on The Prey but I'm pretty sure you only need to bag a laughable 3 hares to beat Hans, to show just how poorly he did. If you don't, he comments about how poor the day went for both of you.
And big respect for the Eastern Influence and Woodsman's Pride combo, that's my favorite too
Yep, i think it looks the best, and helps Henry look a lot more capable.
I really love the game. I do hope it has more small stuff like what you're talking about. Taking into account your progress. Can't be THAT hard. Just more work, but nothing like, insurmountable. Mostly a focus of resources during development. BUT, it's not something that bothered me even once during my 200 hour playthrough. So, probably time better spent elsewhere. I'm still worried about War Horse being bought out by Koch Media. This was a passion project. KCD2 has the potential to be made purely for profit. And yeah, I really hate games that don't match travel speeds when you're with NPC's. There has to be a reason they do it though.
Very good chance warhorse destroyed the potential for legitimate sequels by selling itself. I smell all kinds of nonsense coming, like a required account separate from gog or steam and / or online connection required. They aren't even selling on GoG this time. Maybe they integrated denuvo or something even worse. When warhorse sold I officially left the gaming market. Haven't bought a game newer than KCD, haven't upgraded my pc in 10 years and don't have any consoles. Comedy received its death certificate when Norm Macdonald passed away. Might end up marking the official end of gaming with the sale of warhorse studios. I pray they prove me wrong.
@@bigflea11-ig8jrthey had full creative freedom according to Warhorse devs so no interference by the publisher/ owner. Also the first game was so stressful for Vavra (his hair turned completely white) and he had no money left at one time in development (havinf to support a family with kids) and he developed health issues (I think he had heart sugery not too long ago). So I get why he sold it. Would I have preferred otherwise? Sure, but I do think they had to guarantee him creative freedom (as long as that is financially successful) because if there is one thing Vavra dislikes it is not being able to fulfill his vision and being told what to do. That’s why he founded Warhorse. He is still the creative director, just like with the first game and a sequel was always planned in order to finish Henry’s story.
The option of a GOG release is probably not up to them anymore unfortunately. But GOG releases are often not advertised beforehand and they say it will release on PC, not Steam specifically, which is usually a good sign. But even if it doesn’t launch on GOG, I do think it’s likely that it will come there eventually because their owner does release many of their games on GOG (some at launch and some later).
@@raskolnikov6443 I've heard that before, I'm not foolish enough to simply believe it. Incredible art requires sacrifice. Does he have the energy to continue to stand as strong as he once did? Only the release and playing of the game will tell. You sound like someone in a marketing department. Many of the greatest men were completely broken and destroyed before their end. They managed to shatter Norm Macdonald before he finally died.
@@raskolnikov6443Even creative freedom means jack squat. That doesn't mean freedom not to force in microtransactions, pushing the game out early to meet Christmas deadlines, required accounts for their own launcher, not finishing the game and releasing parts as DLC etc. etc. I'm just hoping for the best, but I won't be surprised when they show their true colors. I just can't for the life of me understand why you'd sell yourself after making hundreds of millions of dollars. I mean, if you're going to still be doing the work. So sad.
@@jonny-b4954 it means a lot. Many don’t have it, so I couldn’t disagree more. I didn’t know Koch Media/ Embracer (Ironically one of the better companies when it comes to DRM free gaming) have their own launcher, interesting. Also whose true colors? You mean the colors of the owners? Otherwise your comment doesn’t make any sense since according to you it wouldn’t be up to Warhorse?
DLCs will 100% be a thing IMO. AAA (regardless of most of them being slop these days) games are sold way too cheap to be sustainable considering the costs (the vast majority of developers agree) so DLCs are a given. The amount of talented people and the amount of years it takes to create a game like KCD requires a lot of money. I hope there won’t be any microtransactions though.
They sold the company because of the unsustainability of AAA game development and the huge risks (that are incredibly hard to bear). One financially unsuccessful AAA game and you are done for. You won’t have enough money for the next project and you will go bankrupt. The millions you made with your first game need to be reinvested into development of the next game. That’s the biggest reason why most studios were bought by big studios in recent years.
The financial risk is just increasing more and more with growing budgets. Each development cycle becomes more risky than the last one and every time everything (your whole livelihood) is on the line. Once you sell you don’t bear the risks anymore. At worst you lose your job. You are not bankrupt and done for. As I already said, it’s very unfortunate but the reasons couldn’t be more obvious.
