The game will be located in kuttenberg, kutná hora, which is mentioned several times in the KCD1, a major city near Prague known for mining silver. Spoiler alert - markvart von aulitz dies during the siege of Kuttenberg, but in reality it was in 1402, the game is set in 1403. So he might be purely fictional and it is not much of a spoiler because duh... The castle Trosky was also mentioned multiple times. It is beautiful castle in Czech Paradise. Never been there. (But I have been in Kuttenberg) The Czech Paradise is known for rocky towers like that. A lot of them are not big enough to house a castle, basically these two rock towers are the only two big enough for a tower to be built on top of them. It looks completely bonkers if you ask me.
Was in Kutná hora when i was kid and i still remember those silver mines people was smaller than on modern days in those those years you would have problem to walk normal in those mines cause they are small.
@thrustvectoring8120 There are many rock towers in Bohemian Paradise, which could house a towers or castles as can be proved by the fact there are lot of them to this day -> Hrubá Skála, Valečov, Valdštejn, Kost, Frýdštejn etc. Trosky rock towers are interesting because they are basalt towers, not sandstone as rest of the Bohemain Paradise, and therefore very different (they are not part of sandstone rock cities, creating top of a hill, not just part of it).

But we are almost certain to hear more about him.

I’m doing a second play through now after this news dropped. I’m just like you, I felt like this game was made just for me. I slept on it so long and just played it a year ago. Man what a treat. Can’t wait to play the second one and I’m rioting if Theresa isn’t in it. I was a little disappointed when they said none of the old locations reappear but maybe since they have separate maps, maybe they can add a dlc where you can travel back to Rattay and Sasau and there’s new quests to do around there. I’d love to see the old map updated with these new graphics
You can indeed swim in plate armor irl. Its hard but its possible. Its actually harder to swim in gambeson because it soaks up all that water weight. Swimming with an additional 40lbs or 60lbs is hard but far from impossible.

They were more likely bolts fired from a crossbow and it’s just the angle making them look longer than what they are. Also with how many scenes we are seeing of Henry and Hans together it’s almost making me feel like we are going to have a type of companion system where Hans or someone else follows you through the whole thing. That would be cool

FYI tha handcanon is Handrohr (handpipe) in german and it can explode in your hands ;) The starting ridiing scene is Hanry and Hans traveling to your destination (with a dog already in tow). Blacksmithing IS in the game, the ambush idea is about right i guess, he will be attacked, captured and loses all his possessions and might lose some of his abilities due to woundfever or something. They got two crossbow versions: hand crossbow which you can reload by hand and war crossbow which needs a winch. But hit someone, anyone, with that and that person is a goner.
based on what ive heard in interview with Toby done by polish gamer channel there should be 3 types of crosbows - small, fast reload lower DPS; mid which needs a tool for reloading; heavy war crosbow, also reloaded by some tool rly slowly, but with according DPS. Regarding Pistala (handcanon) we may expect its usage as a secondary tool to mybe start a combat before switching to melee, or simply as a tool of a chaos / something what makes ppl run if their system numbers are low enough to be scared by such a thing, which works on horses as well. (dunno if this was mentioned by Prokop Jirsa in interview for Indian channel or again by Toby - I have seen dozens of reactions and several interviews already :D )
A content creator who played KCD1 for 1500 hours should've been contacted for the press event, no doubt. Then again I doubt Warhorse are in charge of their own PR anymore, being a part of Plaion/Embracer.

I think Capon was in the prison because he was bailing Henry out. That was the feeling I got from that scene. And I bet it will affect their relationship if he has to do that. I will play Henry as I always play: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Being nice to nice people and who deserve it, but an asshole to assholes. Seen a few different trailer breakdowns and yours was the most in depth which I expected Kind of sucks if they didn't give you a heads up ahead of time since they did give you that care package a while back for your dedicated contact you were putting out back then. Welcome Back! I was disappointed as well, but I've never been good at the networking side of social media. I just focus on producing content. Hopefully I'll see something from them when we get closer to the game release. Early Access would certainly not be unappreciated.

Maybe they will change the 3 arrow scene, they just need to cut the points in the back of the guard and it will be all right, either way it doesn't bother me that much but it is kind of peculiar that they choose to do it that way, maybe was for the trailer only, there's still time for them to change minor things.
The rise of smaller studios (Larian, Warhorse) will be the the best thing I've seen of the industry in the last two decades. Also I'll send Dan n McKay a quick email on yur behalf 😂 Edit: Companions would be very amazing. Not that I would ever replace the bestest boy. I want to see more about the combat (mainly how they have dealt with the multiple opponents vs single opponent) & alchemy. It was already quite nuanced in kcd n I loved discovering shortcuts to recipes and seeing my alchemy book updated with said "shortcuts". Also possibly the best meaningful mini-game that was very relaxing. I could've literally fallen asleep to Henry making potions, just to wake to the sound of Henry screaming and putting fires out 😂

I have a theory that Father Godwin’s gonna die in the game. The pincushioned guy here at 9:18 has a helmet and armour extremely similar to that of Godwin’s in 15:50.
I’ve seen in another video that they are currently still working on getting the game up to 60fps on consoles, but it’s likely the game will be 30fps. This is kind of disappointing and may actually push me toward getting a £2k gaming rig.

Bohemia was center of trade and more so Kutenberg... there is so many countries that 100% visited nowadays Czechia back then... god damn Silver in Kutenberg must have atracted a lot of countries to visit... it was one of the wealthiest cities of Europe..

I played kcd so much I can pretty much play full on quests in my head lol and I know like all the roads and such by memory. I’m sure your probably the same way 😂. 20:47 I'm really glad you pointed this out because this clip is what got me super excited for the game. One of the nit-picks I had for the first one, and this is a really small detail, was when you got out of combat you'd raise tour visor up, but when you talked to an NPC it would still be down which always irked me. So the fact that they took the time for that small detail really tells me this game is gonna be Kingdom Come 2.0, which is what all sequels should be. Someone pointed out to me that they actually liked that because otherwise we'd never get to see our helmet with the visor down (besides the menu) since it's only in first person. So now idk how to feel about it. I guess it hasn't been confirmed you'll actually raise your own visor or not yet.
This was a good video, but I have a few comments to make, not as critiques but to add to what you have already said. Although spinning in combat is heavily discouraged, the way Henry did it can be made in such a way that it would not present a vulnerable point that can be exploited by the opponent. The video was in slow-motion but at full speed it is surprisingly fast. Also, he did it against a dazed opponent who was just previously hit in the head and that half-spin helped to create momentum against his hit to the leg. I have also seen sparring videos where similar moves were executed successfully. It could potentially be exploited by the soldiers behind him, sure, but the camera also makes them look closer than they actually are. In the 1st person perspective, they seem to be 5-6 meters away from where he lands after the spin, far enough so that he has time to turn around and concentrate on them. Concerning visors and full face helmets in general, the thing is that from what we can see in illustrations and written accounts, from the great helm to the burgonet, knights and men-at-arms oftentimes preferred to fight in the melee with their face exposed. They would be used in the charge almost every time but after that many would prefer to raise their visor, or take off their great helm and rely on the cervelliere when the great helm was still in use. The ability to breathe properly is an important factor, as you mentioned, but there is also the improved spatial awareness, of the opponents in front of you and the ever changing battlefield conditions around you; and improved hearing, of orders and various other things.

My first rpg ever. I have been playing this for two weeks non stop, breaking game sessions just for work. My fav games are RDR2, mgsV, hitman trilogy, chivalry 2, and this game seems like a mashup of all these i love it so much!!!!! RDR2 missed a lot on what this game can do, rockstar fames are amazing at style and eye spectacle, they know what's cool, but they desperately need an amp on level design. I inow tgey don't make rpgs, but they need to make the games sandbox. KCD is to me the epitome of sandbox

I've done if myself with a brigandine and plate pauldrons and cuisses. Admittedly, I'm a pretty strong swimmer. But this casual could do it in mail.

if you know enemy is far away and no ambushes in between, you dont wear armor.
if you think enemy is near and possible ambushes along the way, you march in armor.
They were more likely bolts fired from a crossbow and it’s just the angle making them look longer than what they are. Also with how many scenes we are seeing of Henry and Hans together it’s almost making me feel like we are going to have a type of companion system where Hans or someone else follows you through the whole thing. That would be cool

FYI tha handcanon is Handrohr (handpipe) in german and it can explode in your hands ;) The starting ridiing scene is Hanry and Hans traveling to your destination (with a dog already in tow). Blacksmithing IS in the game, the ambush idea is about right i guess, he will be attacked, captured and loses all his possessions and might lose some of his abilities due to woundfever or something. They got two crossbow versions: hand crossbow which you can reload by hand and war crossbow which needs a winch. But hit someone, anyone, with that and that person is a goner.
based on what ive heard in interview with Toby done by polish gamer channel there should be 3 types of crosbows - small, fast reload lower DPS; mid which needs a tool for reloading; heavy war crosbow, also reloaded by some tool rly slowly, but with according DPS.
Regarding Pistala (handcanon) we may expect its usage as a secondary tool to mybe start a combat before switching to melee, or simply as a tool of a chaos / something what makes ppl run if their system numbers are low enough to be scared by such a thing, which works on horses as well. (dunno if this was mentioned by Prokop Jirsa in interview for Indian channel or again by Toby - I have seen dozens of reactions and several interviews already :D )
A content creator who played KCD1 for 1500 hours should've been contacted for the press event, no doubt. Then again I doubt Warhorse are in charge of their own PR anymore, being a part of Plaion/Embracer.

11:55 something i don't think people are noticing, look off in the background at the landscape to the top left, there's no mountain or forest to block that off, it just keeps going and going. unless directly behind this castle is the world border and the river or crevice is what stops the player from crossing it this map will be massive.

AND in german its literally Kutten = to mine, Berg = hill/mountain. Sooo... Mining Mountain? coll name lol. And at that time Germans and Czechs lived together a lot... I would guess Czechs came up with Kutat(Kutná) word first. but I am not an ethymology guy... and the literal interpretation of Kutná hora would be Minable Mountain. What is blud rambling about right? 😀
Yes as the some sort of mining was there before German migrants In 13th century so I guess name can be local but it doesn't matter as both names mean literally the same.

Welcome Back! I was disappointed as well, but I've never been good at the networking side of social media. I just focus on producing content. Hopefully I'll see something from them when we get closer to the game release. Early Access would certainly not be unappreciated.

Maybe they will change the 3 arrow scene, they just need to cut the points in the back of the guard and it will be all right, either way it doesn't bother me that much but it is kind of peculiar that they choose to do it that way, maybe was for the trailer only, there's still time for them to change minor things.

Edit: Companions would be very amazing. Not that I would ever replace the bestest boy. I want to see more about the combat (mainly how they have dealt with the multiple opponents vs single opponent) & alchemy. It was already quite nuanced in kcd n I loved discovering shortcuts to recipes and seeing my alchemy book updated with said "shortcuts". Also possibly the best meaningful mini-game that was very relaxing. I could've literally fallen asleep to Henry making potions, just to wake to the sound of Henry screaming and putting fires out 😂

Bit late to this video, just wanted to say thank you for pointing out all the historical accuracies throughout this trailer. It's much appreciated as a history nerd myself.
I was so annoyed when I saw the release date got pushed back. But once my heart rate had returned to normal I did eventually see in the long run we'll all be thankful they didn't succum to pressure and instead focused on the final result.

I have a theory that Father Godwin’s gonna die in the game. The pincushioned guy here at 9:18 has a helmet and armour extremely similar to that of Godwin’s in 15:50.
I’ve seen in another video that they are currently still working on getting the game up to 60fps on consoles, but it’s likely the game will be 30fps.
This is kind of disappointing and may actually push me toward getting a £2k gaming rig.

Love Kingdom Come: Deliverance so much. This became all i care about for at least the next year or two.
1. Niestety Henryk nie będzie pływać.

27:15 FYI it's not story locked, it was confirmbed by Tobi their international PR manager you can travel between the 2 maps whenever you want, similar to GTA VICE CITY, when you crossed the bridges we has a small loading screen time, it will be the exact case here

I played kcd so much I can pretty much play full on quests in my head lol and I know like all the roads and such by memory. I’m sure your probably the same way 😂. Lookin forward to the future drip videos. Idk how they’re going to beat the feeling of the first one. It’s going to be weird not starting as a peasant for me. As weird as it sounds that realism it has that your just a nobody made the game so much more immersive and fun, because I am also a nobody lol.

20:47 I'm really glad you pointed this out because this clip is what got me super excited for the game. One of the nit-picks I had for the first one, and this is a really small detail, was when you got out of combat you'd raise tour visor up, but when you talked to an NPC it would still be down which always irked me. So the fact that they took the time for that small detail really tells me this game is gonna be Kingdom Come 2.0, which is what all sequels should be.
Someone pointed out to me that they actually liked that because otherwise we'd never get to see our helmet with the visor down (besides the menu) since it's only in first person. So now idk how to feel about it. I guess it hasn't been confirmed you'll actually raise your own visor or not yet.
This was a good video, but I have a few comments to make, not as critiques but to add to what you have already said.
Although spinning in combat is heavily discouraged, the way Henry did it can be made in such a way that it would not present a vulnerable point that can be exploited by the opponent. The video was in slow-motion but at full speed it is surprisingly fast. Also, he did it against a dazed opponent who was just previously hit in the head and that half-spin helped to create momentum against his hit to the leg. I have also seen sparring videos where similar moves were executed successfully. It could potentially be exploited by the soldiers behind him, sure, but the camera also makes them look closer than they actually are. In the 1st person perspective, they seem to be 5-6 meters away from where he lands after the spin, far enough so that he has time to turn around and concentrate on them.
Concerning visors and full face helmets in general, the thing is that from what we can see in illustrations and written accounts, from the great helm to the burgonet, knights and men-at-arms oftentimes preferred to fight in the melee with their face exposed. They would be used in the charge almost every time but after that many would prefer to raise their visor, or take off their great helm and rely on the cervelliere when the great helm was still in use. The ability to breathe properly is an important factor, as you mentioned, but there is also the improved spatial awareness, of the opponents in front of you and the ever changing battlefield conditions around you; and improved hearing, of orders and various other things.
Yes! Exactly my thought, these games have been specifically crafted to my play style. Just hoping they dont lock the hud like the first game, was the only thing that annoyed me

I wish they'd add specific body parts which could be injured for example the mace hit here 13:48 should have injured his arm so bad he should not be able to raise it and the knee shot combo should have made the other guy unable to stand for a while.

My first rpg ever. I have been playing this for two weeks non stop, breaking game sessions just for work. My fav games are RDR2, mgsV, hitman trilogy, chivalry 2, and this game seems like a mashup of all these i love it so much!!!!! RDR2 missed a lot on what this game can do, rockstar fames are amazing at style and eye spectacle, they know what's cool, but they desperately need an amp on level design. I inow tgey don't make rpgs, but they need to make the games sandbox. KCD is to me the epitome of sandbox
