Fossil Hunting and Geocaching at Black Venn, Jurassic Coast, Dorset, England

In this weeks Cache Walk we are hunting for fossils and completing an earthcache on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England. We are looking on the beach at Black Venn, Charmouth. Come and see what we found there on the beach.

Thanks, yes a fun day. Those fossils in the museum where wonderful. We were only allowed to film some, Not sure why the others were off limits.

Extremely impressive fossil hunting Nirvana! I found a few some decades ago and am still reeling from the excitement of my first wee Ammonite. I would love to find a Trilobite. Your drone footage is awesome as always (I really really want one..)lol..... Forgot to ask Santa though.

Very interesting, and the beach seemed to be chuck full of specimens. Don't you wish you would have had the opportunity to drag some of those big ones into your suitcase? 🦀
