So sorry to read about your back issues and having to leave the Costwold Way. Hope you are feeling better soon and can return to complete your journey next year. I have really enjoyed following you on your travels and look forward to hearing from you again

It's a crazy race to run down that hill after the cheese. I would die if i try.

There are slugs like the black one in BC, but yellow ones as well that are equally icky.
Ok Rick. I suffer from back spasms as well. I hope you are better now. I'm sure you're still walking and exercising. Have really enjoyed your series !

My husband and I just watched some of your videos and really bummed on your behalf about your back pains! That must have been agony waiting for medical assistance, but I’m glad they were able to help at last and it looks like you have some more vids from this trip, so your back didn’t completely ruin the trip! Really enjoyed you two walking - I don’t remember you saying, but how many days did you originally plan to take for the Cotswold Way? You look so much more relaxed than another couple we watched who also did the Way, so I was wondering if they were trying to do it in a more compressed timeframe.

Glad you enjoyed coming along. We planned to complete it in 10 days of walking with two rest days which is much slower than most people who do it in six to eight days. We just can't walk over hills any faster and still enjoy the walk. We are returning to completed the walk from Painswick to Bath. Thanks for commenting.

It was interesting hearing you mention your motorbike adventure in America! Did you both have a bike or was someone a passenger? what a shock it was at the end of the video to hear the walk had to end early :( simply not fair but hopefully you can make it back to finish the job! From what I’ve seen of your journey this time around it looks like a lovely route and you’ve inspired me to give it a try one day :)

Thanks, we hired a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra from Eagleriders in Los Angeles. Lynne was in the pillion seat. My back is improving and we are definately going to gove the second half a go. i am sure you would enjoy the hike. The first three days are special.
