Sir all are right but iam confused in gene as you said when both the alleles are combine to form gene as my confusion is that gene is the short sigment of DNA. Similarly nitrogenous bases is aslo called allele....but you said allele is said to be gene.

7:50 it is not called homologous chromosome. It is just 'one' chromosome formed by the two chromatids and both of these chromatids will be from same parent. These two chromatids are called sister chromatids.
Homologous chromosome comes from the other parent.
Alleles are alternative forms of gene which are formed by mutation.

Sir gene kya ek father aur ek mother ke allele se hi banta hai ? Sirf uparwale chromosome part se hi ban rahe hai ? Because upar niche to do alag chromatids hai. Phir do alag chromatid ke do alag allele se ek gene kaise ban raha hai, ye samajh me nahi aa raha hai... 🙏
