Great music knows no boundaries. CMT Crossroads shows the far-reaching roots of country music by pairing country artists with musicians from other genres. Each episode will feature a different set of stars playing together, swapping stories and sharing their common love of music.
I don't care what your politics are, or what sports teams you support, or where you are from......if you love Jimmy, you are my friend.
Jimmy Buffett once in a lifetime, man will be missed.
But the musical play on and will never forget.
And let the music play on.
I can't imagine anyone not liking this song.
🤭... noooo way bro!
I once seen a hodge podge looking group of dudes rocking out to this jam. That strange looking group of dudes happened to be ...
Drew Carrey, Redman, Method Man & Ron Jawarski @ The Holliday inn hotel Lobby Bar @ 10th & Packer in the one and only city that this could ever happen in. On an otherwise pretty shiddy thursday night as our beloved Eagles's took a tuff Lbow...
South Philly Baby. .Go Birds 🦅
#SuspicionConfirmed!
Rest Easy Jimmy, Thanks for the great music.
He departed to MargaritaVille for good
Got my 1st tattoo as a young 19 year old Marine stationed at Cherry Point NC because of this song and that one line... "nothing to show but this brand new tattoo." That brand new tattoo is old and faded now and has been joined by 6 more. This is still one of my favorite songs because of all the good memories it brings. Thank you Jimmy, I'm still looking for that lost shaker of salt 🧂
Suess❤
Yup, this Corpsman was right there with you! Semper fi
Did you ever get the opportunity to see Jimmy perform this song on a hot summer night from about the 5th row of a sold out Amphitheater like Cincinnatti's Riverbend?
It's musically as good as anything I have ever heard.
@@RobertTaylor-cj7zd I did see him in concert once when I was station in Hawaii, it was awesome
Heres to Cherry Point. Havelock NC. Here's to Jimmy! Miss him!
Jimmy you don’t know how much you meant to me and my husband . Married for twenty four years and still going. He was forty and I was twenty four. He introduced me to your music and I’m still listening to you after you passed to heaven. We love you and I know God has brought you home . ❤
May Jimmy's memory be a blessing - it will be for me.
Rest in peace to the definition of a legend!!!!!! Thanks for the margaritas!
always loved how Jimmy never wore shoes like the glorious country hippie he was. All Time Legend in the entire music industry =]
Jimmy was an absolute master of working the crowd at his live shows.

Congratulations?
"You just have to be a legend in your own mind
"
lol
To be fair this is one of those songs where you don’t necessarily have to be a good singer, the crowd will love it either way. Especially drunk ones!
@@JTYooper Probably the worst song he collaborated on.
Thank you for all inspiration and your music Jimmy. Rest in peace
We grew up with Jimmy Buffet , he was one of the greatest.. singer of Happy music
We LOVED HIM!
That's a fact. Kind of like Steve Martin's take on playing sad banjo songs.

Just love jimmy
Franklin Tennessee! Yippee! Great place to be.
Would of loved to see this concert
Rock, metal, rap, country, etc...You haven't been to a concert unless you've been to a Jimmy Buffett concert. I've been to many. It's not a concert. It's a party with family. It has the love, the drinking and the fights. We lost a member of our family at a Buffett concert. Not as bad as it sounds. She ended up in "concert jail". Security found her passed out underneath a car. We had to wait for her to be released so we kept partying for another two hours after the concert. I made 96 dollars. Coming back from the beer tent looking down at my beer so I didn't spill any and there was $20 on the ground. Picked it up and there was another 20 plus a 10. Kept walking and kept finding "beer money". To this day I still don't know if Jimmy could sing live. Everyone knew the lyrics and sang louder than him. But that's how he liked it. You can't put him in a genre. He created his own. Parrot music? Key west sound? Nah, party music. RIP to the man that that gave me some of the most memorable experiences of my life in the mid to late 80's.
My first time listening to this song......omg! Where have been all these years! I have a new favourite

Love this song
GR8 song !! Margaritaville nuff said 🎼🎤
👏 por Jimmy Buffet EPD🎼🎵🎶👏👏👏👏👏👏
Could that band possibly do a Jimmy B tour? Play his first 4-5 albums. Faithfully regret them... how about BUDDY BEAR? Whoo... grab Jerry Jeff's songbook for some changes... blend VIVA TERLINGUA and MARGUARITA while cruising LONDON with the HOMESICK BLUES. They used to do that themselves.
rocking here in bathurst oz
R.I.P. Jimmy Buffett 🌺🌺
Fins Up Jimmy.
Does Zac not know how to harmonize? He takes the melody line in all the CMT Crossroads videos I've watched, even when Jimmy was already on it. Fortunately, Jimmy knows to shift into the harmony when he hears Zac in unison with him.
Gotta get some Pop Tarts today!😎 At 73 I've earned it !
Enjoy those Pop Tarts @Georgitte Singbiel, you deserve it!
Makes me look forward to going to the beach
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Salt!...Salt!...Salt!...
Great song!
Wastin Away Again In Margaritaville
I've seen this kid before singing with I don't know who ... Where did he come from 🤔😂🙋😂🤣🤣🤣🎶🎵🤗🎼
❤
RIP Jimmy😢
Jimmy Buffett-out of Mobile Alabama and the Dew Drop Inn
My mom went to school with Jimmy
Recon they can sing?😀
Jimmy is with Elvis. We'll see them again.
Is this old..
Yes. It's from 2009.
I wonder if the guy in the song has found his lost shaker of salt yet
My mom told me the news that he passed away yesterday.
Oh my, at my age, I say,
Live it
Is this from 2020?
When was this?
Back in 2010
Hello from Germany. I am searching for a Blu Ray of this Concert. I can not find anything on the Internet. Where can I buy a Blu Ray? Greetings
Does Jimmy always perform barefoot?
usually, yes
in flip-flops 90% of the time. Barefoot the rest
Yes because he blew out his flip flops.
they probably had a barefoot blue jean night
@Emma HarperYes that’s how he is he just is a great person and that’s his style he’s at the beach 24/7 in his mind
Wow. Make me feel older:(
both plays toes. whre can i find the video?
How come Zac can't say the letter "R"?
First John Prine now Jimmy, I'm heartbroken.
One of my favorite shows was Jimmy in Cincinnatti's Riverbend Amphitheater back in 2000.
He had Brian Wilson? of the Beach Boys come out and sing "I Wish They All Could be California Girls". Jimmy played "Paradise" by John Prine, something I could really relate to since I was Plant Engineer at KY Utilities Green River Power Plant in Muhlenburg County, KY at the time.
And (get ready for this), he played, "You Can't Always Get What You Want", as an encore.
❤ ❤️🩹 ❤
Never wore shoes onstage. Classic !
RIp JB
To my husband Eddie Graham
2:54 oh that mustve sucked for Zac cuz he corrected by Buffett
I think Jimmy was just being silly. :p Zac sang the correct lyrics but sometimes Jimmy would say "limp" instead of "cruise" on back home. So he was just making a joke about how he said 'Limp on back home'. He seemed like such a nice guy. :)
It’s all my damn fault😬
obamacare :)

Never thought I’d be saying this but Jimmy Buffett here ruining a great Jimmy Buffett song by saying stupid things
Rip margaritaville
Jimmy Buffett's song line Jimmy Dreams crystallizes the essence of his core.
Rest in peace now on the eternal ethereal waves of a higher realm dear friend and poetic visionary.
He's a child to the end
What a joy
When you are you're best friend
And the world's such a toy
If you just stay a boy
You can spin it again and again
Jimmy flies
With no use for disguise
Just escapes
Using mirrors and capes
And the words do the trick
There is no bigger kick
Than just rhyming again and again.....
The states in which we infuse a transfiguration and a fullness into things and poetize about them until they reflect back our fullness and joy in life...three elements principally: sexuality, intoxication and cruelty - all belonging to the oldest festal joys.
The Will to Power (1888). Sec. 801
We want to be poets of our life - first of all in the smallest most everyday matters.
