    Awesome man! Enjoyed this one! I shot you a message on Facebook but might have had the wrong Aaron. I recently acquired a small mining claim in Eastern Idaho. I thought I'd shoot you a pin of where it is if you guys get close you could check it out maybe. Hope to make it out late this summer. Just happened up on it and figured it would be a nice guaranteed campsite for us when we come out if nothing else! Holler at me and I'll shoot you a pin of it. North of Driggs and east of Ashton just a bit. Pretty much on the Idaho/Wyoming border. Thanks for this one man! Enjoyed it!!!

    I'm in the market for a new ATV and I'm considering the King Quad. I'm interested in your opinion of the power steering vs. the non-power steering King Quad models. I've heard one owner say that the power steering on these units is negligible and unnecessary. I am looking for reliability and I am concerned about power steering failure. Thank you for the video!

    • @aaronkelley7448
      @aaronkelley7448  Месяц назад +1

      I really like the power steering and don’t think I would get one without it. I’ve never had any trouble with it. It’s minimal assist is about right. You still feel the road but it helps handle bigger hits and just doesn’t leave you as tired at the end of a day especially in the slower technical stuff. I’ve also heard some say the the front end can feel a little twitchy on the models without it. They are offering some pretty good deals on the non-power steering units here in Idaho falls. I really don’t think it would ever cause you any issues. I’m on my third one, my son and my buddy also have the same machine and we haven’t had any issues with it. Mine is now pushing 3300 miles of pretty rough country and still looks and rides pretty close to new.

    Great video how do you like the canvas tent do you have a stove jack in it ?

    • @aaronkelley7448
      @aaronkelley7448  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks, I love the canvas tents but this one doesn’t have a stove Jack. I have 3 of these older Sprinbar tents and love them. When it’s super cold out I take a buddy heater with a large propane tank. I set the tank outside and attach the heater to a longer hose. Just use it when getting into and out of bed so it’s not so cold. Works really good.

    • @grousehunter67
      @grousehunter67 7 месяцев назад

      We have a big wall tent for up north hunting trips want a canvas one like yours ! 10x10 for short trips for me and my lab got a little portable wood stove i picked up a while ago or got a buddy heater to i could use easy enough to cut a stove jack in for one if i want to go wood , were you using a cot?

    • @aaronkelley7448
      @aaronkelley7448  7 месяцев назад

      I don’t use cots much anymore. Sucks to be right on the ground but I prefer a good high density foam pad to a cot. I bought the one Cabela’s used to offer. Bulky but very nice. Sometimes I use a larger air mattress but although it comfortable it’s pretty noisy as I toss and turn during the night. Check out Springbar tends or the Kodiak Canvas copies. The Springbars are pretty expensive but are a great alternative to a full on wall tent. Always stay nice and dry inside and they stand up well in all conditions. They do offer some with stove jacks, but they are a different line and not made in Utah as the original line.

    You need to test ride the new gen3 Can Am 's, 700 single cylinder , new chassis , new suspension , new clutch, so different from the v twins Can Am's , plush riding and NO heat !

    • @aaronkelley7448
      @aaronkelley7448  7 месяцев назад

      Agreed, they have quite a few features I like including the front storage area and the way the rear rack is set up ( with the optional extender). Seems like you could really load it up. I had one of the original Bombardier Traxters and loved the motor. It was a geared transmission and was very reliable. I would really like to get my hands on one of those new machines and do a review. I bet it proves to be a good option.

      Thanks for tuning in, I appreciate it. Yes there really is some great riding around this part of the state. Lots of 50” trails. I’m really partial the the Japanese brands specifically Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda. I like the Brute Force too but don’t like the belt system as much. I’m interested to see how the new CaAm 700 single cylinder turns out too but since it’s new I would stick to one of the more proven platforms
