High-speed Projection Feedback for Golf Swing Training

We propose a high-speed projection method for golf swing training. Golf club motion information such as a swing plane is useful for training, and immediate feedback of the swing information will increase training efficiency because of the temporal consistency between the motion experience and feedback information. A 1,000-fps mirror-based tracking system measures the swing motion, and a 1,000-fps high-speed projector casts a shaft intersection point and swing plane line even during the swing motion. The method has extremely little latency and can show swing motion predictive projection by the high-speed tracking and projection. The low-latency projection feedback will be applied to dynamic golf training, and will be combined with a more sophisticated projection representation.
