Many of us remember who look to history not to repeat it. If only more did.

@@lindaselander9602most People alive today weren't there. Ironically, the push for segregated schools is more vocal than ever and this not from the white community.

Thank you to the Briggs family for their sacrifices-- it couldn't have been easy. I absolutely agree that history should be told as accurately as possible, not cherry-picked, revised, or removed. Unfortunately, that is our reality. Lord, help us all.
May Eliza and Harry Briggs rest well! 🙏🏾

Integration for Black people was the worst thing we could have ever done. We had our own infrastructure in place at the time, but there was just a few of us who wanted to ride on the white peoples bus eat in the white peoples restaurants and if you ask me, that is what it all Failed for us.

I'm saying we could've kept our community infrastructure while simply allowing those of all.skin colors to be where they please but also not forcing them to do so if they didn't want so

    Biden fought against desegregation.

Not true. You're confusing what he opposed in the 70s, which was forced bussing as a method of rapid integration. Youre confusing that with opposing integration altogether. Keep in mind, Bidens stance was the same as most conservatives to this day. And even most African Americans do not agree with bussing students like that because even their own kids often have to travel to a much farther school just to keep integration quotas up. It may have been a well intentioned policy, but ultimately it was not supported by whites and blacks alike, regardless of political party.

Total bullcrap. The schools found to be segregated were historically black colleges. The solution: the segregated colleges were awarded hundreds of millions.

Brown vs The Board of Education was about segregation in public schools.

We’re not interested, we’ve seen the videos prior to the 1960s and there was NO segregation
