LOL, I ordered the Dracula one! I love the story of Dracula, and Barnes and Noble will just make it better with that sexy leatherbound edition. Thank God!!!
Hi Matt! I'm so impressed by your collection and the way it is all perfectly stuffed into your shelves. Honestlyyou easily find people with three or four of the B&N Classic leatherbounds but not as many as you do! I'm jelly about your shelf, God so awesome. Keep posting book videos!
Cléver Dourado Thanks Clever! I'm running out of book space in my room lol. I know I've been slow w/ updating new videos (life happens), but I'll be posting more soon.
I am a feverish collector of Jules Verne works and although I own the books which appear in the Barnes & Noble collection I had to get theirs as well. This is mostly because of their cover design which stays loyal to the original French covers overall design (by Hetzel or Agora): red background, the air-balloon, the globe map, submarine and other motifs and themes that Verne got famous for worldwide. It's a pity though that B&N haven't published any Jules Verne edition that consist of any of the beautiful drawings from the original for that would have made it a perfect immersion into the realm of Verne.
I hear a lot.of.negative stuff about these editions but I kinda want all of them just because they look so good. But their prices aren't that different from the cheaper folio society ones. I think the first one I'll get is the Arabian nights one as it's available where I live for 15 euro. And I have fond memories of reading that book after I got it from the CHILDREN'S section at our local library. After finishing it I brought it back told the librarian lady this wasn't a book meant for kids. She laughed and asked "aww was it scary"... I just stared at her for a few seconds and said "no.. you should read it". And she laughed it off even joked about it with the lady behind me. Homie 1001 Arabian nights is straightup porn, also SUPER racist by our standards.. and sexist af lol. Man I love that book.. Only I think it was you video that showed the B&N Arabian nights was super delicate with the cover giving off its colour etc. That kinda worries me.
Hold up. Those Dracula, Frankenstein, and Dorian Grey copies all looked like legit leather. All I can find are the flexi-bound versions. Where can I get the real leather ones?
How is the font of the Stephen King collection? It doesn’t seem big enough to hold 3 books in my opinion given that the paperback version of The Shining that I have is over 600 pages. I’m just curious 🙂
Jacob believe it or not, it's fairly large! Bigger than your typical hardcover book. Ultimately, they've sacrificed paper thickness in the effort to collect all three in one. I promise it reads well.
Hey Daniel - paper quality and font size is presumably where they cut the most cost. Paper can definitely feel thin. Not all editions feel lower quality, but some certainly do.
@@kelvinsmith6854 Yes. That is true, as well. I would hate to damp other people's enthusiasm for this collection (of which I have one piece myself), but these factors cheapen the set greatly.
I've been wanting to get a proper look at this collection - thanks for the great video!
Sweet collection!

Amazing collection, dude! So bad that here, in Brazil, is a little hard to get some of this editions.
Good luck in your channel 😊

I don’t think they have those anymore

Matt Tutino I might pick it up just to have it on my shelf especially since I’ve already read two of the three books 🙂
Really late question how is font on hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
As in size
What's the paper quality?
Hey Daniel - paper quality and font size is presumably where they cut the most cost. Paper can definitely feel thin. Not all editions feel lower quality, but some certainly do.
Have you read them ?
Have you red them all?
FSM ishere I have not!! I've read maybe a quarter of the stories, so they are simply on standby right now.
You do realize that they are all' faux leather', i.e fake, plastic in this case, they are all printed in China.
Sadly, B&N does not use real leather.
exatactly, they are plastic ( faux leather) and all printed in China

@@frankellis6335 ..but they sure look good though.
@@kelvinsmith6854 They do, but they aren't quite as "mature" looking as Easton Press.
What is the difference between Barnes and Noble collectible and classic editions?
