I picked this one up from the bookstore partly because of the stunning cover and the fact it contained some stories I did not have in other books, most especially Sweeny Todd. I agree the spine is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for posting! Appreciate the reviews; I'm starting to collect too - I recently purchased The Phantom of the Opera and Other Gothic Tales (Barnes & Noble), another beauty! :)
Thanks for the review. I originally wasn't going to pick it up because I thought I had most of the stories but turns out I only about 10 so I am planning to pick this book up.
Amusing and delicious videos you make, I collect Barnes & Noble as well together with basically any other quality bindings. I now what you talk about when you mention living outside US or UK and having books shipped to you. I live north of the polar circle (Aasiaat, Greenland) shipping takes time and books are sometimes damaged not to mention the hardship, in my case, to find sellers who actually wants to ship books this far north - there are not many and sometimes it takes months for them to arrive.
Hey Denise the stories featured here.. Are they all complete or is the abridged versions? Like especially stories like Frankenstein and strange case of Dr.jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Ok getting the hardcover version, leather bound is too expensive where I am looking or I can't find it at all, lol, I am going to be getting this off a seller on Amazon and just wanted to know how well put together the book is, I really want it because it not only contains Mary Shelley's Frankenstein but String of Pearls,or Sweeney Todd the demon barber of Flinn street, also in between those awesome novels,it is jammed packed with amazing horror stories. This looks like another book I want. Ty +Foolishfish you have no idea how amazingly you have impacted my library by showing me these awesome collections, hopefully you can recommend some more horror collection books soon
I may get this because it would look great next to my Alice's Adventure in Wonderland. ( My is pink with black and white, a book a million version)( I shop Barnes and nobles now).
