When I was PR & Sales Manager of CBS Austria, I got to know The Clash personally. The band was on the verge of their worldwide breakthrough when they performed in front of around 400 "madmen" in the Porrhaus in Vienna. During the performance, drummer Topper Headon suddenly felt sick, and he just poked behind him without neglecting his instrument. 👍 Guitarist Mick Jones gave me his spacey sunglasses that I wore for many years!
That was great. Im glad Paul had a good sense of humor through that one. He is known as a quick tempered boy that loved to take care of irritating people. It was nice to see Mick and Paul laughing at something together..

There is an old saying that 3rd album "makes or breaks" any true rock band, but The Clash with their third album "London Calling" had blown the minds of fans, music lovers and any objective 'failed musicians', so called "music critcs". Though, too bad they omitted a few words on second album..
