One of my favorite songs. I remember sitting in a guard tower in Afghanistan and singing this song to myself every day. It was a hard time, but I would follow it up with your grace is sufficient. Great choice!!!
Wow Ryan, what a visual! Glad you made it home safely, and thank you! I know many vets have some forms of ptsd. I pray you always turn to Jesus for comfort.
Different version than the single / album version. Also I think the lyrics are different slightly? Anyway it was a big hit when came out showcasing what Tenth Avenue North was best at: capturing, lyrically, what it is like when one hits the very end of his ability to cope (see also, "Hold My Heart"). Something, I suppose, now that I think about it, Red shares as well ("Not Alone", "Hold Me Now", "Coming Apart"). Although more thematically that we are constantly under spiritual attack ("Wasting Time", "Watch You Crawl") and feeling like we've lost , or given up ("Of These Chains") is not the same of actually being lost or separated from God, that He's always going to chase us down and meet us where we are (("Already Over", "Forever", "Lost")
This song speaks so much to a depressed soul. My dad has BiPolar Depression and is in a constant state of struggle. One day he’ll be whole but for now, I try to point him to the God who can guard our hearts and uphold us in our suffering.
Tenth avenue north changed my life with one of their songs. I fell to my knees and prayed. Thank you Jesus for your saving grace. For you alone are worthy to be praised. This song is the epitome of souls today. Pray for this nation, each other, and turn your hurt and sorrows over to the redeemer. Jesus Christ.
This song came on the radio as I left my sisters house as we said goodbye to her husband. He passed away and I know he was so worn from fighting to live.
This song…this song and I have a history. God brought me this song for the first time when I was in one of the darkest seasons of my life. My pain, agony and weariness was emotional caused by the ending of my marriage and what I thought was God’s will but this song helped me see that He has me and redemption will win. Thank you for sharing this! God bless
Your comments and observations are spot on. My Dad chose to stop his kidney dialysis and go into Hospice. It was incredibly sad but also amazing to watch his transition. He was so tired, so worn, and so ready. I chose this song to be played at his funeral. Thanks again for sharing it with us.
I Love your channel, each video gives me chills, seeing your reactions, listening to new songs I haven't even heard, and just the way you explain, I think I've cried alot watching your videos, you just can see the passion you have for music and the stories you share, and most of all the spirit of Jesus in you. Thank you for sharing with us about your grandfather, I know No doubt he's up in heaven having an amazing time with everyone, we will see them one day. :)❤
Leonardo, I have been watching your beautiful videos, and watching how God is transforming you is so very captivating. I'm sure there must be one video in which you talk about surrendering your life to God but I haven't found it yet...will you please tell me if there is one, which one? Praying for your precious heart. Kathy
I lost my husband (38) in 2019 in a house fire. He had a long, tough journey to get close to the Lord. So, the 3 songs I had play at his funeral were reflective of his life and walk with The Lord. 1. “Worn” (in the beginning as we walked him in. He was tired and worn before he fully surrendered) 2. “Reckless Love” (in the middle of the service his journey was spoken about by his Christian friends) 3. “Finally Home” (at the end we walked him out as this song played because he finally got to go home and see his earthly father again and Heavenly Father)
This song helped me in a very hard time in life. It gives you the ability to cry out that you have nothing left, asking God for a little hope. I would love to see you react to NF!
Please go watch the original version of this song with the tree. The video is so amazing...there's just not words to express it. Even if you don't do a reaction video for it...just watch it at least once. Whenever life gets too weighty I think back to the images from the video and it starts putting the pieces back together in me.
I was literally thinking about suggesting this song just DAYS before it was posted. I had my Dad on my mind and this feels like one of those signs that he was around. It's not a current song anymore, so I was really surprised that it just happened to be the next new one. Thank you!
I've been here. This song is one that has helped me through so much pain. It's made me feel that I'm not alone in my struggle and kept me hopeful. I whared this one recently with one of my best friends in her huge health struggle. So glad you are reacting to it!
Beautiful. Very simple compared to radio version. Personally, this song has really been a truth and prayer during times of brokenness in life, but I do see what you're saying as well. Great review. Thank you.
Just subbed since seeing your oceans reaction. Glad to see your journey is ongoing :) A song that was deep on my journey when I went from Agnostic to Christian was: "For your name is holy" -Paul Wilbur. Give it a listen, even on your own time.
Hello, I am fairly new to this channel having recently discovered it through your Chosen reactions. Seeing you reacting to various songs got me thinking about some of the group's and songs that I like, and I thought I'd offer a few suggestions. Well, perhaps more than just a few. Twice before I've tried posting a comment containing my entire list of song suggestions, but for some reason they wouldn't post. I thought I'd try again, this time breaking the lengthy list up between multiple videos, so instead of having a song suggestion for every day of the year all in one place, it will be in various places. These song suggestions don't have to be reaction videos (because that would make a lot of videos), but you could listen just for yourself. My taste in music usually isn't in the more modern contemporary styles, so my suggestions could introduce you to some styles you may not be familiar with. To whoever reads this comment, I hope there is at least one song on this list, and possible future lists, that touches your heart. Alright, going in more or less alphabetical order (hence why I'm beginning with this group, numbers always come first) here is Laura's List of Song Suggestions part 1. 3 Heath Brothers-- We Believe Smell of Smoke Dream Small We Choose Life Self Less I Know Whom I Have Believed My Savior First of All Shake in His Shoes From Every Stormy Wind Everywhere I Go This Is Who I Am Give It to Jesus I Believe You Pray Hard If You Knew Him No Matter What Forever Home Just When You Thought
Please let me know your reaction to song My worth is not in what I own (Live with Fernando Ortega) by Keith and kristyn Getty. I learned to appreciate the songs better from your channel. God bless!!

That song describes my current state perfectly. God is good, I know He is working. He will do it again ❤️
I love Tenth Avenue North!!!!
The song meaning is up to you to me means the mental struggle of life but it can mean anything
Hello. If you haven't yet heard their "I have this hope", then please do. It is amazing in every respect, lyrically, musically and emotionally.
Take a listen to "I Want You, I Love You, I Need You" Tenth Avenue North off of the album "Cathedrals"
Beautiful. Very simple compared to radio version. Personally, this song has really been a truth and prayer during times of brokenness in life, but I do see what you're saying as well. Great review. Thank you.
Surprised nobody has requested "In Jesus Name (God of Possible)" by Katy Nichole. The most soul-moving song I've heard in a while. 🙏💙🙌
Just subbed since seeing your oceans reaction. Glad to see your journey is ongoing :)
A song that was deep on my journey when I went from Agnostic to Christian was: "For your name is holy" -Paul Wilbur.

Another good one is Skillet - Anchor.
