We're back in the world of Fallout 4, but with one simple ruleset: Every step costs 1 cap...
If my cap count ever hits 0, I'll be killed on the spot... Combine this challenge with the premise of Survival, then suddenly you're walking everywhere and paying to walk.
In part 1 of this challenge, titled "Fallout 4, But Every Step Costs 1 Cap", we setup a water farm for vendoring, killed Kellog and made it all the way to the Institute. Today we'll be completing all of the Fallout 4 DLC's, alongside finishing the game aswell. ALSO I made a very dumb IRL purchase thats featured in the video... Enjoy.

Insta bought, not a want but a need
so fun fact about the explosive shotgun, in addition to how much damage it already does, its damage scales from both the shotgun perk AND the explosives perk. whereas most normal guns can only increase damage from one perk, this gun which is already one of the strongest you can get, can increase its damage from 2 perks...
A similar fun fact, if you glitch Lorenzo's artifact onto a laser pistol, the energy damage is enhanced by pistol skill (usually ballistic weapons) and the artifacts ballistic damage is enhanced by the explosive skill. No clue about the "Guns & Bullets" vs "Tesla" magazines effect on multi damage weapons like an irradiated or poisonous plasma pistol.
Best part is that the explosive effects each individual pellet separately so you get more than the stated bonus damage
@@calumdowning741 Worst part is when you get a legendary two-shot combat shotgun drop and realize it doesn't double the pellets from 8 to 16, you get 9 pellets instead of 8. 😲😠
i got this weapon like 100hrs into my first ever playthrough when the game first came out and basically became god since. NOTHING can withstand this gun.
My favorite shotgun cheese is a double barrel shotgun with the never ending legendary perk.
Add the advanced receiver, maxed out rifleman and bloody mes perks and you end up just above 3000 dps.
Want the math?
It does 45 dmg at a fire rate of 36 (which is in 1/10th seconds for 3.6 shots per second)
that adds up to 162 dps (45 x 3.6 = 162)
Add the advanced reciever, which increases damage by 33 and firerate by 145
so
45 [gun] + 33 [attachment] = 74 dmg
x (38 + 145) / 10 fire rate
= 1411.8dps
Add the rifleman perk (+100%) and bloody mess perk (+15%) to get to 167.7 dmg per shot
x 181 fire rate (18.1 shots per second)
And you get 3035.37 dps.
A regular deathclaw has at minimum 510 health. The strongest version, the mythic deathclaw, has at minimum 1360 health. A sentry bot has 750 health, and it's strongest version, the Annihilator sentry bot Mk II, has at minimum 1045 health. Swan has 1000 health.
Rounding up (because you can't shoot half a gun) you can take each of them out in under half a second.
Assuming all your shots hit.
Or rather, there is nothing in the game that will survive more than 10 shots, which you can fire in 33 frames or just above half a second.

Its a fun gimmick but i really hope they dont add them in next one. I like the fallout3 weapons better overall as more reason to use different variety.

The reason Taffington Boathouse is under attack so much is because it has an enormous amount of resources but no defenses so it’s an “easy target”. Settlement attacks are more frequent the more water and food you have and less frequent the more defense you have.

Forgot water farming, just take the relevant perks and scrap and buy as much steel as possible and make loads of poisoned caltrops. Only require 5 steel each, weigh the same as Purified water (possibly less?) and are worth 2-3 times as much
I love the Domino effect of RUclipsrs getting compared to one another. Jabo gets compared to Joov and Joov gets compared to Doug Doug.
What i wished happened in this video is you played every dlc but had to reset your caps for each one

My favorite thing that fallout 4 has is the explosive shotgun, because they designed it so every pellet has explosive not just the shell
i know combine each kill gives you tiles but every time you walk you lose caps combine them both to make the ultimate video it might get popular
Made an explosive build with an explosive minigun I found. Explosive perk + explove bobblehead + a magazine that increases explosive damage + creation club power armor coating that increases damage. Absolutely unstoppable
He should do a mod where every time he misses a bullet he drops the gun or loses 1 cap. Or something along the lines of that. 😂

The first question I had the first time playing through Far Harbor and entering the nucleus was "why is Teldryn Sero a cult leader" before immediately slapping my forehead for forgetting how many people simped/simp for him
Flamers in Fallout started to fall off after Fo2, they were busted in the isometric games.
Just to make you understand your lost moth on a deeper level:
A moth walks into a Drs office, late at night. He sits down and starts talking to the doctor. The doctor asks, 'what seems to be the problem?' the moth begins to explain 'well, you know doctor I've just been struggling with the day to day. I've fallen out of love with my wife. It seems like she doesn't even notice me when I walk into the room. She seems way more interested in the actors on TV. I mean my figure has slipped a little bit but not in a way that would make me think that she would completely ignore me like this.' The doctor explains to the moth that: 'sometimes in a relationship things fall apart due to a seeking of attention. It's not so much that you aren't offering her that intrigue, but that you aren't offering her the attention in the way that men on TV seem to do for their wives' The moth accepts this as a potential truth of the situation, but continues 'but doctor, My bigger trouble is my daughter. It's like I don't even exist to her. She's so caught up in her day to day that she doesn't seem to care to tell me about it at all. Even when I ask it's generally pushed off as a menial topic and then she blames me for anything that's gone wrong in her life.' The doctor explains 'maybe she isn't so much trying to push you off as she's trying to push you to engage further. As a working man it must be hard to be a part of your daughter's life. She probably blames your absence in her life on a disinterest in it. Maybe you should try engaging with her on some of her interests. Then you two can bond on those instead of letting a chasm of emotion build between you.' The moth says 'You're right doctor I should really spend more time focusing on her needs and intentions rather than my own. But if I'm being honest what I'm really struggling with is that my son doesn't respect me. Everyday I come home any belittles me, demeans me for my inability to provide for him my wife and my daughter. He tells me how I should be there for more of his baseball games, and that I should focus more attention on taking care of his mother and his sister. My time is so far spread over coping with my depression which is so deep that I struggle to even find the capability to care for them as individuals as opposed to caring for them as individual portions of my family. I just don't know how I'm supposed to handle all these loose ends while also trying to make ends meet and put food on the table for the people that I care about.' The doctor says 'I understand your struggle, and I am sorry. I do have to ask though what do you expect me to do as a podiatrist? Why did you even come into my office?' The moth replies 'oh, I just came in because the light was on'
