Cracking the Marvel Legends Clues?

- With a new livestream set for Monday for Marvel Legends, I might have actually figured out the clue for at least two reveals.
Even if I'm not right on that one, I've got more speculation on the other potential reveals with the pre-order teases for Thursday.

I would definitely like to have a green-suited Quicksilver. A two pack with the old style Scarlet Witch wouldn't be bad. Classic Mordo and Strange would be dope too. Looking back at some of those old covers for Strange Tales, I see Brother Voodoo a few times. He would be a welcome addition to my Marvel Supernatural shelf.

Wouldn’t we still need Stonewall, Super Sabre and Crimson Commando for that Freedom Force/Brotherhood team?
Oh yeah, those were the three later recruits I mentioned. I'm just talking for that original Days of Future Past storyline team. I absolutely want Stonewall, Sabre and Commando. They were a fun mini-team as well.

Those would have to be a multi pack. I'm not super invested in those characters. I think they are a deep cut because they weren't featured often.
I have really had to Fudge to get a 20 + 1 Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. And they are outnumbered by my 53 + 1 X-Men, divided into 4 Teams and a small Mansion staff.
@@BladeStar-uq6xe That's when you get to add your Sentinels and Hellfire club soldiers to support you're Brotherhood. If you think like me you can add some generic demons being controlled by Goblin Queen.

Am I way off base here thinking the June 20th EE clues could be referencing Generation X and Paige Guthrie (Skin)? And the June 18th EE clue about a “peek behind the curtain” could be referencing the Wizard? I guess there wouldn’t be Legends preorders going up two days apart.
I've seen that speculation too. More Gen X members would be welcome. I think the 18th pre-order is just for The Stinger.
Any plans on making a Marvel Legends display any time soon?
As far as tomorrow's Hasbro Pulse livestream..i believe that we'll see Odin.. Sentinels..& hopefully the 40th Anniversary Secret Wars wave..
Lastly IMO i agree with you 💯%..the skulls are a tease for the Mystique Destiny 2 Pack that Rektangular revealed a few months back..
I'm just about done with it. Need to figure out a place for Alpha Flight now.
The Sentinels would be a nice addition too and I'd love to see the Secret Wars figures.
Possibly an Odin and Hela two deluxe two pack or Mephisto/blackheart?

I hope that we see Red Skull, in a suit and tie. :) My custom will suffice, but I'd prefer to get an actual version of him. :)

Here are my predictions (and hopes) for a Strange Tales Wave. If they're truly basing this wave on the Strange Tales comics, then a mix of these characters is inevitable...

Wizard, Trapster, Brother Voodoo and Adam Warlock are my most hoped for, especially Adam Warlock in his original costume.

@@LylesFigureFiles I know it's a stretch and highly unlikely, but I'd actually rescind my hatred of 2-packs if they made a 2-pack of Brother Voodoo and Damballah, the villain from his first appearance. It would be an awesome set!
Maybe Marvel legends is ready to take a page from the GI Joe playbook and re-release the Engine of Vengeance a la the VAMP at a more reasonable price point? (maybe the wall of skulls is actually a road paved with death) ? it is almost Haslab Season too, wonder whats coming down the pipes for us this year

The brotherhood will never be finished until they do a proper Mastermind and Unus the untouchable but Destiny is a much needed addition updating mystique is cool too.

Yeah I wanted a unus to display also but he sort of got lost in the shuffle in the comics. I don't know if maybe he got killed off somehow or what. We could also ask for the savage land mutants we never got.

Could be a huge number of wants in a Strange Tales wave. Make it a double wave, why not😂. As for the skulls, Morgan La Fey also has a skull belt... I don't think it's she though, not sure there's a huge amount of fan demand. Or how about Death? They haven't really done any cosmic entities apart from Galactus, right?
Death could be tricky. Would there be more demand for her than Morgan? Morgan has battled The Avengers at least.
@@LylesFigureFiles Ah, I think they are both longshots, I was just shooting the breeze in terms of skull themed. I personally would love a Morgan La Fey...gotta build out my Spider Woman rogues gallery🤣🤣. Death would look good next to Thanos or in a larger display of cosmic entities...which they could branch into at some point.

@LylesFigureFiles Destiny comes back in 2022's Inferno and is resurrected younger, so, if they include an unmasked head with Destiny, if it is the Krakoan era version, she's have a younger brunette head sculpt. Personally, if Destiny were to, hypothetically come with an unmasked head, I'd prefer she came with both the classic old lady head and the more modern younger head.
3:00 I’m constantly in the middle of “setting up my displays” because nothing ever stays standing. I literally just picked my black widow up after falling off the top shelf unprovoked 😂

Aren’t we getting a Mystique and Destiny. I heard a few people online say it was going to be a two pack or as single packs. I can’t find it. But that was months ago. It could have been Rektangular. Jeff I’m glad that the Stinger is even on Amazon and BBTS.
I REALLY hate 2-packs, because I usually have one of the figures already, in this case I have Mystique. It's a paywall, these two-packs. So I hope they come as singles. Destiny is badly needed, and I'd love to see a classic Mastermind as well, and Mesmero. A few cool X-Men villains!
You and me both. I hated the Sabertooth-Wolverine two pack. Everyone just wanted Sabertooth. The same with the Storm - Thunderbird two pack, they only wanted Storm. It’s only a marketing thing to sell the figure nobody wants. Just sell them as singles and make everyone happy.

I am hoping for Werewolf by Night and Mephisto. A Titania would be great as would a Medusa with articulated hair!
I'd love to see Titania and an improved Madusa is really needed now.
Awesome video Jeff. It is difficult for anyone to argue about your guesses for the Monday Fanfest. I would love a Strange Tales wave: Wizard; Trapster; Umar; Mordo; Nightmare; Puppet Master; Mad Thinker; and please remember that Adam Warlock also had a run in Strange Tales as well - so there is Adam; Gamora; and Pip. For a series that didn't sell well for Marvel it certainly had a cast of characters. Even the Beatles made an appearance! I would love for a Gabe Jones to accompany my ever-expanding SHIELD team. The much anticipated Odin (if comic variant) is a highly desired action figure that I would love in my collection. For twenty years Marvel Legends have been sitting on a goldmine of characters - the Asgardians need some lovin'.
My skull guess was exactly the same as yours. However, Dwight said something in one of the Fanfests a couple of years ago when he said he wanted an AoA Wave 3. I am suspecting the variants we will receive will be the AoA ones of Mystique and Destiny. Perhaps a complete Wave 3 might not be out of the realm of possibilities.

I would definitely welcome an AOA wave 3. So many characters left to knock out.
I also wonder if they would make the Jim Hammond Torch figure from Strange Tales.

I use Human Torch that don't have a '4' insignia as Jim Hammond Original Human Torch! I have 3 of those, one in my Invaders, one in my Avengers, and 1 in my 30th Century Future Avengers based on a What If? Story. For Toro I use a smaller Toy Biz version that also doesn't have a '4' symbol.
@@BladeStar-uq6xe I have an old Human Torch, not sure from when, but he's a tad smaller and all red with black lines, but he has a yellow "4" symbol on his chest that I use for Toro. Perfect size, but I gotta paint over the 4 symbol.
There is a Toy Biz version without a 4, you would probably have to really hunt for it.
Some really good sleuthing Jeff! Whatever they do you know there's going to be a few bangers in there filling in classic comic characters in the new M.L. style.

Strange Tales wave:
-I think Blackheart is a lock. He appeared in a recent Strange Tales one-off issue from 2022. A lot of us believe was already made for a cancelled Ghost Rider wave to coincide with the shipping of the ill-fated EOV, so he'd fit nicely in this wave.
-Werewolf By Night starred in a Strange Tales volume in 1998 with... wait for it... Man-Thing. Coincidence?
-If it's more of a "strange" character hodgepodge wave instead of literally characters that had frequent appearances in any volume of Strange Tales, I hope we see cool characters like Gargoyle, Swarm, Griffin, Death Adder, Anaconda, Gorgon and BAF Lockjaw.
Lockjaw certainly feels overdue. I do hope we get a good BAF in that wave.
Maybe they'll finally announce/reveal the last 2 villains from NWH??? *ELECTRO & LIZARD?*

Yes! They've done enough members now that I'm hoping they keep adding more members to teh crew. I assume we'll see Diamondback with the Cap MCU wave next year.
I hope that those figure get release, Mordo Wizard trapster and fixer That would remove figures from my wish list

Im thinking the skulls are symbolic rather than than literal so i keep thinking thanos or maybe lady death or maybe a villian who kills a lot of people which ofcourse could be anyone .

Id love to see Unus the Untouchable and Mastermind in his original brown outfit.

@@LylesFigureFiles Boxed set would be a great idea! Maybe similar to the Stryfe pack. Sprinkle in in a random from The Marauders ( Harpoon, Scalphunter/ Greycrow, Prism, Malice, Scrambler, Blockbuster, Riptide..any of these) or maybe another lesser known classic foe ( Mesmero , Vanisher, Rogue in her original costume) or maybe a Savage Land mutate (like Piper, Amphibius, Brainchild, Lorelei..) or another member of the Mutant Liberation front ( Reaper, Forearm, even Rusty or Skids.) Pack in a classic Mimic or green Banshee- it would probably sell!
