It's amazing to see these places in such a personal way. I am from Australia, and almost all the places you visit are the complete opposite of where I live, and I love it! I'd love to do the same one day and visit these places, but prices for flights in Australia are just ridiculous! But thank you for this content! It's so much better than many other travelling channels.

In Valmiera Latvians are 85%, according to Wikipedia. When you visited this town, looks like March for North Europe

I've seen that many towns of similar size in Russia or even much larger towns have just abandoned public buildings and no events because they have no funding. So it's nice to see that they still have a cultural life there with events and maintenance.

There was one shop, one café and a pharmacy
Also, these aren't known as London Taxis in Britain, they're known as Black Hackney Carriages, or Hackney Taxis and are common in every major UK city, not just London.
Valmiera is really nice. If you want a depressing town, there are many. My "favorite" would be Kraslava.
Ian sounds more Irish than British. He sounds nothing like a scouser! :)

Train doesnt stop in Seda`s sation anymore, but train apses it like 3 times a day to Riga or Valga
In Latvia there was near Gulbene a nuclear base, and it was very popular for visitors, but it started flooding and collapsing, so like 5 years ago it was demolished, safety inspections were most concerned about the 4 rocket silos around 100m deep starting to collapse there.

Those taxis aren't specifically London taxis, you find them all over the UK
they are though? they were produced by a company called LTI, which stood for London Taxis International

What about Valka? They are on the border with Estonia, the twin towers Valka and Valga. My grandma has lived there all her life she says valka is big but i dont see it. Does anyone know any history about Valka if so can you tell.

Mostly they were migrants.
The majority of which were russian-speaking settlers, and military personel, who went back home.
These houses are abandoned, so why should they be maintained? No one wants to go there, since that shit*ole is in the middle of a bog. Seda will become Skrunda-1.

Most of Seda People works in Estonia - The rent or the flat is very cheap in there , not a lot people wants to live there , because there is nothing to do.
As someone who lives there I can agree on that.
You clearly have not been in Valga in past 5 years if you still think like that. I was this summer and Latvian part Valka looked better and cleaner and Valga people looked poorer actually. In terms of prices about the same now
