THIS is who we could have had as President...an incredibly intelligent, down to earth woman who may be the most prepared and qualified individual to have ever run for the office. I'll never get how we managed to mess that up so incredibly badly that we actually ended up with the mess that is Trump. I was an independent in 2016 and ended up voting 3rd party. It wasn't until after Trump won that I realized by not voting for her, the Fem candidate, I was essentially giving my vote to Trump. I learned my lesson. Never again. Well, that said, beginning with the 2018, I have and will continue to only vote straight Democrat. I haven't registered as a Dem because my state has open primaries, meaning we can vote in either party's primary. I will vote strategically in the Republican primary next year in my swing state, doing anything I can to get rid of these Maga imbeciles!

I would put money down that trump scammed that election win and nobody looked for it. I think only 5 elections ended with the popular vote leader not winning. Secondly, clinton's popular vote lead was absolutely massive compared to the others that didn't win. It was almost a 3 MILLION lead in the popular vote where the rest of the 4 or whatever non-winners were only very small margins. ...yes, i understand the electoral college, but that gap is too big to ignore in hindsight.
