I have mine over 3 years. I used it every day on construction. I also thought the cable went bad, but i think is the plug in on the radio. I used to plug it everyday so it wore out. Now it does not charge but if you play with the cable where it connects to the radio it works. On mine it does maybe thats where you are having problems. Everything else no problem at all. I still get compliments from people that the sound is great.
currently making up my mind between this one and the tstak, your review and the comments below were very helpful. Hitting like& subscribe, thank u guys 👍
Awesome review and speaking your truthful experience. I really like my Dewalt 20V battery products and would move forward with this but might wait for a hopeful update (better storage compartment and door quality and better charger). 👍🏼👍🏼
Love hate relationship with mine. Had mine 3 years now. Everyrhing is fine although like yours the feet are missing. It’s unrivalled on its sound quality it is truly amazing. If I’m in a firstfixing/roughing a house all day on my own it gets cranked up and it it sounds ace anywhere in the house. It’s downfall for me is it’s size if I’m moving around a lot some days I’ll just leave it in the van as I can’t be bothered carrying it.
Thanks for also pointing out the pathetic plastic cover with the self destructing clips. Replacement cover pricing is utterly insane Who was the genius at Stanley Black& Decker / Facom that designed the insipid plastic clips on cover? The release mechanism is another design cock up.
Mine always says dead battery and battery doesn’t clip In worth crap only thing I find it has going for it is the sound I should have stayed with the Milwaukee radio way better
Worse reception on a radio I have ever had,no matter where I am even a half mile from the rock 101 station and wrapped with corner bead, and tin foil still a piece of shit. I'll probably hang it in the tree and send a few 1 oz sabot slugs into it. Them melt it. The sound is good when you have other than radio. Dewalt thumbs down on this one. But it is nice looking

My dewalt keeps saying low batteryany idea what is going
Your battery is not fully connected, this happens when you stand the radio up. The battery likes to slip down.
hi mate Can you control the volume with your phone when your on Bluetooth mode ?
Yes you can, thanks for watching
