I am a student thinking of getting a camper van instead of paying for college room and board, and I think I found my new favorite model option! Thanks, Buddy!
*I like these 'older' models because the 'newer' Class 'B''s are insanely over-priced and and really offer nothing more than this 'relic' does...you put $2K into a quality solar set-up and you are in 'bidness' for power* __________ *I think I would change-out the toilet to a modern 'Thetford cassette-type for extended 'Boon-docking' instead of hauling 'poop water' around while looking for a dump-station that charges per use* *A 'Maxx-Air' fan is a 'must-have' w/reversible flow!* ( *I would buy that 'Camper' in a flash if only I had the cash!* *But my 'SS' check only goes so far* ) __________ *I have a 'paid-for' house w/all the 'mod cons' in it and I like it...but I would sure LOVE to have an older Ford model like the one in the video parked at my house, and if taken care-of properly and not neglected or mistreated than I will never 'lose a dime' of my investment!* *IT WOULD ALWAYS BE WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR IT!* ( *I'd be waxing it until my frickin' arms fall off or I drop dead doing it...I take care of my stuff!* )
*I forgot to mention...if you apply paste-wax to old original window moldings they WILL 'come back to life'* *It will take 3 or 4 treatments before it 'soaks in' but it will restore the 'plumpness' and smooth finish to the rubberized moldings and thereafter just 'touch-ups' every few months is enough* *It's cheap, it's time consuming, but worth it for the results *
How much did it sell for? I bought one almost identical that a year and a half ago and invested an additional 13 grand on a new ac unit, new engine and lots of parts. Ripped out carpet and installed vinyl plank flooring. Much more practical and easier to clean
@@roscosaerialphotography2895 Yes it was very cool I never actually camped it I sold it for one of my girlfriends. She bought a new Mercedes camper and has had nothing but problems with it. This ole 1989 Falcon will last another 100 years if it's maintained.
