you guys are so lucky the Lexus ES 300h in Saudi arabia is 50$k while the touring avalon is 38k which makes avalon the smarter choice in those price tags imo

I've had a 2002, 2013, and now a 2018 model and they're the best cars I've ever owned. I was planning on upgrading to the 2023 model so I could switch to a hybrid, but there won't be one... Though the large executive sedan market is smaller than before, we still exist! We crave the Toyota quality and reliability promise in the form of a premium executive sedan!

I have a 2019 Avalon Touring. It's such an amazing car, such a shame it's being discontinued. It makes sense though, as the current model is priced nearly identically to the Lexus ES. As much as I like Toyota hybrids, I'm glad I got the V6. It's such a smooth and supple engine and it sounds pretty good too. It's definitely no sports car though. Even with the adaptive suspension that the Touring has, the Avalon can still feel like a boat sometimes because of its size and weight. However, I have to give Toyota credit for making a front wheel drive car of this size that is actually sort of fun to drive. On another note, I've been waiting to get a GR86 for like 5 months now. I wish Toyota would take notes from other manufacturers and have a more transparent inventory system for their cars.
My first car was a 1998 Avalon XLS. I loved it. Unfortunately, the sway bar broke, and I couldn't find parts. My goal was to make it to 222,222 miles. I hit 215,500 when I went to get my inspection sticker renewed. It failed of course. I now drive a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. It's not what I wanted, but I'm happy with it. Although the Avalon will always be my dream car.

Have 03 avalon and 15 avalon. Both reliable comfortable great cars. I dislike crossovers and i really dislike Toyota Crown coming soon. I guess my 15 avalon better last till i can no longer drive.
The reason this was discontinued is because it's effectively the price of a Lexus ES, and in-general, is very similar to one, so it's honestly redundant, even if there are things I like about it.

Why did you buy a 2020 then? I just bought a 2022 Toyota Camry SE Nightshade for 31k otd. Which is 2k above MSRP. I couldn't justify paying above MSRP on anything other then an actual brand new car. 💯

Love the Avalon. I had a 2008. That car was a dream. My husband has a 4 runner. We notice that the blue tooth system in both vehicles is awful. We both have iPhones. The Bluetooth is very staticky. Has Toyota I,proved upon the Bluetooth system or is that still in the works?
