I don't like Prince but I have to admit he was one of a kind and was and always will be one of music's all time greats.. Ryan's songs are only okay, none are top tier produced or mixed to real professional levels. If he was to (stay independent) but hire real producers and have people who can actually tell him this isn't good and need to be forgotten or this one needs more work and have someone to mix to the highest levels as those who are signed he would actually get on mainstream networks without being signed. There are and have been plenty who have done it. Just because Ryan says he has the most of this or best of that doesnt make it Tue. Having hundreds of songs and saying you have enough to put an album out every week doesnt do anything when the music and the vocals are so bad no one buys it it it worthless and non memorable to the times as he claims he will be so famous when he dies no he will be forgotten when he dies. Look at all the signed and independent musicians who have died recently as there are so many due to many were in rap and top of the genre and due to rap beefs get killed. They don't, they are not going on as legends anymore, they are getting past up and forgotten, and they were 1000 times better then Ryan has ever been.. His sale has taken huge dive in last 5 years or so and his social media main source where he has like million subs is lucky to get 20 to 30k watches when come out, and I bet maybe are in the low hundreds of people actually putting money down to pay for the music. As being on Princes level, come on is this a joke??? You go anywhere in the world and ask who Prince was and 99 percent of people will tell you who he was and most will know words to a couple of his songs able to hum out the music to a few songs. You cant get but a few hundred people in every state who would even ever heard the name Upchurch asked. Prince could have sold out the biggest stadiums and arena's nightly and sold out Vegas every venue multiple times daily if it were physically able to be done. Ryan cant sell out places that have max capacity of 300 people. So yeah prince level is a HUGE NO. He is actually past his prime too most who used to listen have moved on, those coming into him are slowing down by the thousands and his quality is gone. Just cause he makes a song in his garage and says this is as good as anything on music row and "scares them" is laughable!!! And for sure doesnt make it true. He hit his top and is is on the decent and is why he has enough time for all the internet drama as he has nothing else to do. I have lived my whole life 10 miles from the guy and was at his first show, that how I found out about him even though he was friends with my best friends brother and they lived down same road. So I have seem close up and know people in his circle and seen the high highs he has had and those are gone. Not hating on him but his time is ending. Just like him being so out of the real world where he thinks he needs security, Come on we have so many "real celebrities and musician's" living all within a 30 mile radius and they hardly ever use security. Hell just walking around Nashville or surrounding areas you run into them and they are just out living their life like a normal person and sometimes they get hit up for pics and autograph's, but usually not as much as you would think, it isn't like LA and celeb think they look more popular with security walking around with them. They do that (unless they are going to big red carpet major events, them at those type events as so many people come out and they don't want to be rude to fans and tell them to back away so they use security to do that) but those who use it out shopping or going to gyms and regular day shit is to get the attention ore from paparazzi and more reg folk notice them in that way also and its due to them falling off so its a PR stunt to make them seem as they are that important and helps keep their name out there so they can keep getting work. Ryan might need them at some shows where the venue doesnt provide enough, but at the house it isn't needed. All famous people get people coming up to their houses but it is very very rare as most people know enough that these are just normal people doing a job they enjoy doing and not some god and are not going to give them a chance to make it big or free money, and understand that these people don't want strangers coming to their homes as much as they don't want them at there place. He could do as almost every other cleb and call the cops, he might have to call 1 or 2 times a year if that. sometime couple more. But on average that would be it. And as small as Ashland city is and as close as Ryan lives to the police precinct and also the main police and jail they would be at his house in less then to 5 mins max. But saying he is Like modern Elvis, come on when has he had thousand of people following him everywhere he went around the world. Huge A-list celebs doing all they can to meet him themselves. begging to have them on their talk shows, begging him to be on their night shows. Presidents doing whatever they could to get him to come to the White House just to meet him. Think Ryan will ever have even a D-list celeb trying hard to meet him? if you have to think or think yes you need mental help. Its okay to like the guy and enjoy his work but buying into he is above the rest and best in class an can do more than any other artist when his best music isn't radio quality (it isn't cause he isn't signed)that is his cope excuse. You don't see women passing out by dozens at every show just cause he looked their way or because he danced a certain way as they did at every single Elvis concert. Elvis will be in every music history doc, Ryan wont ever make a blip. He just isn't not big. he just has a few thousand fans who live in a bubble and love the smell of each others farts. As I said I like and listen to some of his music but it has to be far apart like months till I could listen to the same song again, but I cant lie and say he is great in any means, as it just isn't true.
