I attend the BFFI fair each February and meet several Irish tyers.Irish shrimp patterns and dabblers are a favourite.
Can I ask where you buy the flourescent yellow wing hair.?

Hi Scott. Thanks very much for sharing your expertise, it is greatly appreciated.
For your dubbing mixes, what do you use? For the likes of your trout flies. I have lots of hare, mask and body, rabbit, seal, wool of many kinds, squirrel, Silk even. Can you recommend any nice fibre mixes.

Hi Gary, if your looking dubbing for Irish lough flies I’d look no further that the traditional Irish dubbing range from Frankie McPhillips. In relation to mixing your own it’s really trial and error and also depends on the pattern your tying 👍🏻👍🏻
