I remember reading somewhere that the reason he was playing so long was that there was a band playing on another stage and he wanted their set to finish so ETID could have the honor of being the last band/last note played at warped
Thank you for 23 years of pure creativity, growth, and unmatched energy. Not a single bad record in their entire catalogue. RIP to one of the greatest, most hard-working bands to ever do it.
Still get chills from this. Growing up warped tour was the thing I looked forward to the most every year. My favorite holiday. Standing in this crowd while Jordan kept that riff going while the stage got broken down and then it started raining and the whole crowd was fucking blown away. Fucking living poetry. Couldn’t think of a better send off for the event that molded so much of my upbringing. Thank you warped tour
@@kersedlife6226Keith just couldn’t check his ego that’s all it was. I highly doubt Andy and Jordan were the problem as both are the coolest damn dudes (I’ve met them a handful of times at shows).
How different it would be if instead of this song, they played "Holy Book of Dilemma" and instead of the riff being played, Keith just screamed "Separate hearts are the whole of the law!" For 8 minutes straight
Wow, while it is really awesome performance and a great send off, especially from Jordan. You can just really tell Jordan loves Warped Tour to death. Thinking back to the old ETID Dvd's, he would sell merch in the car line ups as they enter and leave, street team for ETID at warped and just literally live and breathe it. After the power was cut him just stage diving and crowd surfing, he just wanted that evening to last forever man. Dang Jordan Buckley got me right in the feels with that performance
2024 and I'm probably not the only one missing etid and warped tour, but we're blessed with amazing memories of both. I hope this one stays fresh in everyone's minds
Jordan is a legend. Last year I ordered a t-shirt from his store, the dude couldn't find it in the size I wanted and offered 2 free shirts for the inconvenience. I said that it wasn't necessary and decided to get the same model but in a tank top (the "Make America Gay Again" one). Jordan ended up giving me the tank top I ordered, two free T-shirts, some gummy bears and a postcard. I believe he was moving the warehouse of his store somewhere else and needed to get rid of stuff and that's why I got free shit. But hey...nice gesture.
Definitely possible, but I also know for a fact Jordan is just the coolest dude. I ordered like $50 worth of stuff from his store and he ended up sending me a ton of extra shit for free. Posters, masks, etc. Dude's awesome through and through.
Awesome that you caught the whole thing! I was rocking the rail right in front of Jordan, but I pulled out at the "end" of Map Change with a friend that was about to pass out before Jordan started to continue playing. I caught the last 6 min but it's nowhere close to how good this is. Best band ever. ETIDiots forever!
@@devinxharper These guys did what Nirvana did without the frontman offing himself. They’re on the same level as bands like Motörhead. Even though they broke up they’ll be remembered and cherished.
Omfg I would have been moshing and crying 😢 like crazy last of the last, and this is where it all began for me from the very first Warped Tour in 1998 great times shout out to Josh Trustkill
The coordinates we had were incorrect and now we have to re-scout the entire area. Map change. Even the title implies a dire sense of urgency. Love this band.
Man this shit brought tears to my eyes. This was the end of an era. This was the end of my adolescence. I remember vividly just knowing some shit was going to change. Favorite band to do it.
I don't think anything could've topped what the guitar player did at Charlotte. He handed a music equipment case out to the crowd for them to hold up and he stood on top of it and played, so epic.
I love the idea that so many people were unknowingly in this legendary video at such a beautiful and precise moment a second before the heavy breakdown
These dudes make me proud to be from Buffalo. There really isn't a whole lot of (other) reasons to be proud of being from Buffalo...that sounds darker then I intended it to.
What you say is true…being that I’m from Buffalo NY and left for better days 9 years ago…I have never seen a band live more times then ETID and with their end last year I plan to keep it that way. One of the greatest bands that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing play time after time. Like you said, there’s not much to be proud of to be from Buffalo, but ETID was/is it.
I told my sister when they where touring with beartooth that she would want to see their set and the mosh pit from up close.I could never get into the singers voice but I know they always go off. 2 people got knocked out and there was a fight/the police ejected some guy. I've been using RUclips since 2007 and I think I've liked 1 video the entire time. This just became number 2. This video made me literally lol, then it frustrated me, then it shocked me and made me go wtf and finally it was wholesome at the end.
So jealous. Really considering moving to the states for all the tours (not only Warped which won’t be the same again) and the amount of good shows you guys get yearly.
The first time i watched ETID i was 14, andy played in nothing but whitey tighties, keith drank an entire bottle of jack on stage, i left with a black eye and a broken nose and a new favourite band. This was about a month after HotDamn was released. I knew nothing about hxc and hated it and the kids cuz im from the punk scene and they completely changed my whole outlook on all of it. 23 fuckin glorious years fellas.
@Black Metal Memphis May Fire is a Christian band that was on Warped several times and never kicked off, same with We Cam as Romans to an extant are Christian, never kicked off.
some say, he's still playing that riff, till this day...
Where
He crowdsurfed while playing at the end in Jacksonville but his wireless unit kept going in and oit cause they damn near carried him a fucking mile.
sounds fake, i don’t even believe that’s the real jordan buckley, legend has it he’s still floating somewhere in texas when they wouldn’t put him down
Shelby Gloom 😂😂😂
"I'm not gay!"
The tour can't end if you never stop playing
"The ship's going down with the captain" is so fitting for this.
Here after the breakup......this needs to be played on a loop forever. LONG LIVE ETID
Watching them break down the stage behind him reminded me of the band playing out as the Titanic sank... Very honorable move, Jordan!
The "ship's going down with the captain" line is very apropos considering.

Man this hits even harder now doesn't it. RiP ETID
Yup
This is how he got out of tearing down the gear
damn I need to remember that one
hahaha love this
Honestly he could play that riff forever and I'd have no problems with it
Absolutely agree. Even 5 years later haha
The most poetic conclusion I’ve ever seen
For the last 8 years this band was the only reason I'd buy a warped ticket. This was really special to see.
Joe Momma consider this my like on your comment since it's got 69 right now
0derpred0 You’re suppose to hit that 69 for good luck dude
I think we all aspire to live in the moment like that, knowing it'll be the last time.

The whole zooming on the plane during one of the breaks super well timed.
