Suppressors are still useful, ppl don't react as fast when getting flanked/shot at by suppressors, they still have their use tbh even when getting spotted on mini map.
Especially on conquest when you are doing the team's work assaulting points while the dumbasses camp-defend some already-lost location. Nothing more satisfying than a Blasco sneaking into stuff and mowing down 10 ppl with motion detector and a muffled PBX (or PP29 if you wanna be completely invisible).

The Standard Issue drummag comes only with 2 drums. One with the weapon and a spare one.
Meaning you're stuck with 102 bullets (counting on in the chamber of course) and slower reloads. I'd suggest the 40 round extended mags.
A 40 round mag comes with the gun and 3 extra ones. Plus faster reloads.
You can just put the extended mags in your weapon wheel and swap to them when the drum ammo runs out. That's what i do. Best of both!
Yeah 👍 good point, I actually play with Angel when 50mag and 40mag when assault class.

its getting to the point where i know what enders is going to say about each new weapon. no supressor, fill out magazines, run arcom if u want more accuracy. i knew this was going to be the setup as soon as i unlocked all attatchments. maybe i have seen to many enders videos?
They do this every time they release new weapon. Overpowerd to get people buy battlepass and then they nerf the weapon.
Something is not right, I've noticed that grenades are all throwing higher than normal and it's making it hard to throw them accurately.
Really weird stuff running the in game Network Monitor on Haven yesterday. Various weapons dealing 180-250 damage with one shot. Periods where up to 50% of client hits were not registering on the server. Once I died because 5 different players hit me with one shot all within 20ms. Killed several times by DM7 as if it was fully automatic 4 hits within 30ish ms and perceived as a one shot. Then there was the guy who killed me with 5 rounds with the SCZ when I was crouched behind a boulder just outside the spawn and he was in a building in the middle of the map. There is a glitch (on other maps as well) where you can see through a wall if you are right next to it and turn a certain way. There were also a ton more hackusations then has been typical in BF2042. Blowouts and spawn trappings are common even matches very rare. The Little bird is a total pain in the ass and if your team doesn't have a competent pilot, oh well.
Pbx and the ac9 are still my favorite smgs.
Don't sleep on the long barrel. It with the hybrid and burst firing is pretty good for dropping long range targets.
The long barrel is literally never worth using except for maybe on snipers. It's a dps loss in every situation and leading your target isn't difficult.

If it increased damage range and velocity, then maybe, but it's pretty terrible.
@jj_withers_away it doesn't increase damage, doesn't even help falloff. It only increases velocity, at the cost of rof. Not worth on basically any weapon.

High power ammo is also garbage on the ak5c. It lowers the rate of fire and ttk so badly. Standard and cqc ammo are the only worth it options. However, the extended mag for standard only give you 9 more rounds (with what looks like a 45-50 round mag) and makes the reload longer. Not worth it.

267 ms TTK is slow for an SMG. The Scorpion is quite pedestrian actually. It’s basically an MP9 with worse accuracy but more range. Dice broke from tradition making the new guns average this time.

Why not use a compensator seeing that it gives more stability while firing? Or is the vertical muzzle break better? I’m on series x
Vertical recoil typically doesn't matter in 2042, so if you're going to use an attachment to reduce recoil it's better to go for reduced horizontal recoil. The Compensator is worse in that regard, since it splits the difference at the expense of the weapon's spread, whereas the barrel that reduces HREC just increases VREC, which only means that you have to pull down a bit harder while firing.
I am not playing the new map .... Tried it a few times on breakthrough but nope.

@@novo.sorrow I'm not sure I agree. Having a 4 BTK range within 5m or so was one of the things that made weapons like the AEK in BF3 so broken because it meant that slower weapons had no means of meaningfully competing with faster ones regardless of the situation. BFV also had a similar problem where the bad gun mechanics meant that higher RPM weapons were just almost always better because they were more consistent and more lethal at closer ranges, and the gunplay in that game was basically only designed for ~20m engagements unless you were using an SAR, SLR, or some kind of bolt-action/bipoded weapon. Lower RPM weapons need to be able to compete with higher RPM weapons at close range in some capacity, otherwise you'd be punished for doing anything other than camping with them at long range.

I know that Battlefield 2042 has a lot patches and balance that Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 1 as well

@@EndersFPS Wrapped Suppressor really doesn't have any downsides at ranges where SMGs are going to be used the most. You're getting all the benefits of suppression at the expense of reduced muzzle velocity, which.. really doesn't matter in 2042 for most guns. If it was BF1, BFV, or especially BF4 there would be a stronger argument for the Wrapped Suppressor having significant downsides (BF4 in particular had very high bullet drop and very low muzzle velocity, at least compared to the other Frostbite-era games. it's why most of the guns in that game felt bad to use at longer distances unless you were using the Heavy Barrel, besides their less consistent bullet spread compared to BF1's weapons). The only way I could see the Wrapped Suppressor having meaningful downsides on SMGs in 2042 is if they're bugged and have hidden stat modifiers they aren't supposed to that negatively affect a weapon's performance beyond the reduced muzzle velocity.

Maybe they should Just buff all other weapons instead of nerfing this one because it feels awesome, especially me being a player who doesn't like to change fields of view and stuff for the advantages. I enjoy playing the game with appealing and natural visuals. So the accuracy should never be balanced around people who use fields of view in my opinion. And yes i know this wapon is meta, but does this also mean it doesnt feel awesome? this wapon feels really really good.

High fire rate weapon with tons of bullets in a mag with little recoil. Tell me something new lol.
Sorrow has also said that the testing they've done on the STNR and MGL laser sights has shown no evidence that it reduces recoil in any way

Im so fking sick of SMG's being better than AR's in every way in every Battlefield game. Why the fk there are AR's when they're basically useless or worse versions of SMG's lmao. Braindead design
ARs have always been better, and after the update they still are. HS multiplier 1.9>1.55. On the new map SMGs do have an advantage with all the house-to-house fighting, I’ll give you that.
