It sounded familiar to me too. The only thing that comes to my mind is that the final part of the chorus reminds me of the ending of lostprophet's "everybody screaming"

Most of the bands go with an 8 bar breakdown, but it’s kind of false to call it an extended breakdown cause then you set the 8 bars as a rule but obviously there are no rules in music 😂 go and listen to some wage war or any given day some of their songs come with 12 or 16 bar breakdowns which is pretty damn awesome !!
