I hear you, i know there is a lot out there already and we're a little late to the game, but i can't recommend enough that you give this a try.
I've been playing with chili recipes on and off for years. I've tried so many different ones i've lost count, but i've always felt that each one has always been missing something or wasn't quite as i wanted it.
Luckily i know a few chili champions who gave me some tips on the technique and now this chili is perfect (for me).
Ingredients
1 x Large Onion
2 x Tbs Tomato Puree/Paste
2 x Tins of Chopped Tomatoes
4 x Tbs Mild Chili Powder
1 x Tbs Cumin
1 x Tbs Onion Powder
1 x Tbs Garlic Powder
1 x Tbs Oregano
1/2 bottle of Chipotle Tabasco Sauce
1 x Cup Tomato Ketchup
2 x Kg of Precooked Smoked Brisket
4 x Squares of 70% Chocolate
1 x Tbs White Sugar
Salt & Pepper
Bit of water
Great info on cooking the tomato out, will definitely try that next chilli I make. I’ve been making a lot of BIR curries recently and learn8ng the principles of layering the flavours so this makes perfect sense 👍
