Chinese people have been in Melaka since the sea voyage of Admiral Cheng Ho from the Ming Dynasty. He visited Melaka with his navy and had good friendship with the local Malay King. Later, it was said that Princess Hang Li Po married the Malay King around 1450's. The Chinese people have been in Melaka for over 500 years. I think the newer Chinese immigrants from Fujian only came around the 1880's. I enjoyed watching your travel videos.....
