Kaenic rookern could be really nice into Teemo and Karthus as well But it's definitely better vs poke comps, in the second game you played maybe FoN would have been better to survive the Eve execute/burst toward the end of fights How do you feel about the gun build? Smurf build only haha? Liandry's 1st item seems really mana hungry, although you were probably fighting a lot more here than you would in your own elo What's nice is I think Swain's gonna have way less mana problems now that blue buff is shared post 20min

From what we can tell, the new season will give a lot more variety and flair to Swain. You can now build anything you need on Swain depending on your team comp and enemy team comp, from a heavy drain tank, to a burst mage.
All the new items are so sick honestly, there's so many more options to choose rather than every champ builds the same three boring ass items and whoever abuses the overpowered mythic the best is meta.
this season is looking great for Swain imo. im having alot of fun on the PBE with some of these builds already. im still experimenting with a few different build orders, but its nice to see swain has an abundant of options this time around.
One general improvement I see is the build paths across the board. You can even buy some ability haste for 250 when you have no gold for something better.
i dont think malignance first item is the right choice, you doesnt have a passive if you dont ult, so it doesnt give something extra in laning phase for pocking, pushing etc for me, liandry or riftmaker first are the way, and then malignance second or even third for the lack of mana, pick doble mana rune
Looking at this, i wasn't giving the new cosmic drive the attention it deserves, it really seems like a CORE SUPER SUPER CORE item for swain now. Such a good item for him... I'll be buying it either first or second... It's especially good in melee matchups, it'll allow you to keep outspacing your opponent with Q, just instantly gaining movespeed every time you use Q is insane for spacing... Might not rush it against rangeds, but against melees it's a godly item Also, thanks for including a game with each build. I really enjoyed how much of a raid boss you turn into in the second game, that build seems to lack a bit of damage but is really nice when your team needs a frontliner, you tank soooo much As for the game 4, did you have a lot of mana issues? I really really want to skip malignance, there are too many good items and it is just mediocre compared to the other options... But i'm afraid of always being oom

Yeah as a jungle main i personally am not crazy about the map changes because i liked being able to gank but if riot really wants me to farm nonstop and do nothing til 4 items i guess maybe this is the season to play rengar again
All the lanes are longer now, more room to chase when you gank if they shove. River is smaller so that’s a plus, also along the sides of the river are path ways that hide your movements if you’re going from lane to lane.

The burn is bad. Old liandrys's was statistically better because the burn included a scaling flat damage ontop of the burn. This is why there was such a massive difference in damage values compared to Demonic Embrace. Overall it's a nerf.
super server build is definitely still alive, cosmic now gives a flat bonus on a single spell so you don't need to "ramp up" the movespeed, roa being nerfed is unlucky but you can go malignance, defense boots, zhonyas/cosmic for a super good three item spike with huge damage as well, decent tankiness because cosmic gives hp
@@clicktoaddtext7933 RoA is nerfed, but so is pretty much every past mythic that didn't get their role changed (and arguable even those), so the base level from one item or champion to the other hasn't changed. Before, you evaluated one mythic for the others, now one legendary with the others.
it's not the stat difference, its the loss of the movement speed part, that part was improtant for super server but it's gone so how we can probably go somethin else, maybe it could still work though ill test ito ut@@qwormuli77
i think... some stuff be getting nerfed or swain will be. they will never allow swain to be op like they do for other champs who have had long reigns before nerfs or even just slight adjustments.
I feel like FoN is better than Kaenic overall tho ? Idk when we should go Kaenic instead of FoN (I mean not only Swain but every champions that build MR) even tho kaenic is still strong
another guy commented against stuff like teemo karthus kaenic would be really smart, but very interesting item! situational for sure need to do some more testing
@@HusumLOL mhm yes you are right , but karthus ult against magic resist champions is pretty inoffensif tho , karthus ult is a real danger when you play a big squichy ; but for Teemo that is interesting for sure, I think Kaenic will be good on champions that will go FoN first item and will go Kaenic 2nd MR item if needed , can also be good if AP in front are VERY fed and you are not tanky enough to make FoN stack , that can be a good situation for Kaenic , if not in this situation I think that kaenic is not for Swain because your first MR item will be abyssal , and if you need a 2nd it will be FoN in the largest amount of games imo
I think the magic shield item is going to be golden against xerath/lux and abyssal(my beloved) is still going to be better against cassio/maybe syndra but I guess we'll have to see when the season hit live
And I think roa rush is shit but if I can get a roa at lv12/13 and knowing game’s gonna last up till30mins the free lv for lv16 is great value. Put into the full build cosmic rush with footwear boots into roa , hmmm
Tbh I actually dunno if I will start with the item u did. I feel ryals feels so nice and cheap that I will think about new item in 3rd choice tbh after ryals liandrys. I feel riftmaker won't be as good as u show because of the relation price/benefit. I think I preffer the other ones tbh.

I saw the numbers and it gave me the sence that although the item of cooldown reduction seems good on swain it end up not being that good because if u notice the dmg it's just high if the enemies are steady (if they are a lot of time in that cloud) in other hand the magic pen increases with lvls so in first lvls u won't benefit as much from it, well actually not true because having less magic pen earlier might be stronger than more l8r but it feels that liandry's deals more dmg than new item and I think it's magic pen utility is kinda low and base dmg not so good so u would need to go lots of ap to benefit from passive dmg but swain doesn't have such good scalling with ap he needs durability too.
It's important to remember with malignance now more than ever, that one can rush lost chapter, but the build another first legendary, leaving full build malignance for closer to level 11, where it gets more value.
Any opinions on the MR bami’s item? I struggle to see where it would fit into a build but it’s waveclear is amazing on Swain, it’s like having access to the bami’s waveclear without having to sit on the wave.
I noticed you didn't slot Rylais into a lot of different test builds. Do you think with more options Rylais will be more of a situational pick? I have a feeling Cosmic Drive might be better because it still creates a movespeed gap but it is through your MS not removing theirs.
Idk why but I think that Rockebelt have a good potencial on Swain. It's cheap give some sustain, ap and dash that can sometimes give you kill or stop enemy from walking out from Swain ult

Conq + rift could be good for extra sustain. Your ult now stacks conq by itself
onmivamp will be 100% effective on aoe damage(in season 2024)

It looks like Aby Mask doesn't lower enemy MR quite as much anymore, but with Malignance that feels like less of an issue

Pyke with tiamat is viable in jungle again i think and he hás crazy ganks potential even in the New map
