- The Doubled Eye is an original “Top 10” Jefferson Nickel variety. This 1943 die pair, Fivaz-Stanton 106, is named for the dramatic northeast doubling of the eye.

I like this one, and would love to have a high graded one, but continue to look through rolls from my LCS. Someday I will find one. I got a decent 1943/2-P that way 😉 Thanks for the info!
