I have always admired your Bohus sweaters and was so happy to see two more! They are both so beautiful. I love the colors! I'm sad for you that the spring sweater was such a trial, but kudos to you for persevering! And now I'll look forward to a sewing video :-) I hope we get to see the pink dress that goes with the spring sweater. Thanks for the colorful good cheer!
Thanks so much for watching. If you’re on my Instagram, the pink dress is one I posted from knitting camp, worn with my Egg Bohus instead. Otherwise, I still do hope to show all those outfits on the channel, sometime.
Your projects are amazing, far beyond my capabilities. The video while showing your scarf took me a minute to digest. Could not fathom why you would put twinkling stars over it. Then had a good chuckle. Your polkadots on your dress are showing through. Will you show that on a solid background?
Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching. Actually, the designer of that shawl calls for putting beads along the edge and this was one time I didn’t do that. I will definitely try to remember to show it on a different background, perhaps, showing several of them since it’s a pattern I’ve used several times.
Lovely projects as usual. It must have hurt to rip back your sweater. When you do your cuffs do you look through patterns and choose one or do you have an idea first and then look for a pattern to match?
An excellent question! Sometimes I’ll have a clear idea, maybe using cables or something, but usually it’s mulling over various ideas as I knit down the body. Then, go searching through stitch pattern books to see if something similar to my idea shows up. I also usually try to take into account the patterning on the collar to have the edge reflect what’s going on there.
That’s interesting. I suppose because you’ve knit so many sweaters and shawls you also know what will flow best from one part of the knitting to another.

It was lovely to see a new podcast from you, such beautiful projects as always.
Thanks so much for the kind words. And for subscribing to my channel.
