Do not attempt the stunts performed in this video. All stunts were done by professionals in a safe manor and no one was hurt during the filming of this video
now i have heard the nautilus is literally every different balance
Yep, that’s the problem with balisongs. Balance is completely subjective hence why I never bring it up when talking about specific balisongs
@@jakeflipsbalisongs Wouldn't balance be determined by weight distribution? I think there's more at play when it comes to the feel of the balance than weight distribution like length, thickness of the handles and shape. But I do believe something is objectively handle/blade bias regardless of what it feels like
the nautilus clone has no end weight whatsoever..still kewl tho..but hard to flip
Can you give an example of a Bali with severe handle bias? Vs one with heavy blade bias? I’m kinda new to flipping and also kinda enjoy the idea of making a Bali at some point, so I’m trying to acquaint myself with the different feels/balances.
Anyways, thx for the vid, super interesting topic 👍
So for super handle bias just think anything from amazon that is 100% stainless steel and costs less than $10 and for blade bias you would look at something like the plastic carrot balisong
Id say the nautilus to me feels like a slight to medium handle bias, and i have to agree that the longer u flip usually u will gravitate towards a more neutral experience
Yeah my problem is I don’t have anything super neutral to compare to 😂
For the most part I agree, but there are some people like telestro who kinda went about the other way around, gravitating towards more handle bias as time went on (at least when he was still actively in the community)
Very true and interesting to see from him. He always did love neutral when he started. Maybe it could have to do with him flipping less over time?
@@jakeflipsbalisongs oh yeah i forgot about that too, I recall him mentioning in one of his last videos about how handle bias was something he leaned towards just because he wanted to flip more for fun and leisurely to his style with strong handle biases really helping with that
