I definitely think there's diminishing returns starting from 200-300, for example I will always strongly think that my wing was definitely worth it, but I struggle with justifying the price of the Sasori, on the other hand, I think that my Superfly is super worth it compared to everything else I have, but that's only because I got it for 200 on discount. But in the end value tends to be quite subjective. Great video!
I also got my superfly for 200 and it’s literally my main flipper. Luckily, I haven’t payed full price for my titanium balisongs since I usually got deals.
I'm looking for a Sasori trainer, but I can only seem to find the live blade on the machinewise site. I can find the Tottori trainer variant, but I'm not the biggest fan of sandwich balisongs, and it's like 200$ more expensive. Do you know where I could find a Sasori trainer? Thanks, love your videos.
Your best bet is to look on various second hand markets (instagram, reddit, etc) or follow MachineWise on instagram (or join their email list). That way when they do release more you will know
Even if I didn’t want to buy a clone, I would buy a clone first just to make sure I wasn’t going to dislike a $750 toy. The prices they’re asking for some stick and some bearings is unjustified
Value is completely subjective and how you choose to spend money is completely up to you. I will say that clones are not the same as the actual product and probably never will be. That being said there are certainly balisongs I would only ever buy a clone of and not an original.
I think people also tend to forget that these things hold value really well, so whatever you do spend is never just money down the drain

Answer: No, just buy clones.

All the clones I see look so cheap and not good is there a brand that's good quality you recommend?
