Words of wisdom here which are just as valuable even after nearly 7 decades on the planet. Refining oneself throughout life is important. Edit for typos.
These are all good points and very helpful in the meaning of life true life is found in serving others as we have been taught by the teachings of Jesus God bless you all
100% I once was lost- but now I am found! Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Life! Jordan peterson actually was instrumental in me coming to Christ, because I used to think I was a good person- but Jordan helped me understand that I also had the capacity for evil, which led me to humble myself- then he got me interesred in reading the bible- which led me to finding God! Thank God for sending Jesus to forgive us of our sins, that His blood may atone for them and we have the opportunity to be born again and be reconciled to God and become His child! Serving Jesus Christ is the greatest honour and submitting to His ways is far better than trying to do it on our own! ❤

After 2x marriages and 30yrs in relationships, I have been 6yrs flying solo single now and it has been without a doubt the "easiest, most peaceful years of my life" ... 58yr old. I totally disagree that you need an intimate relationship in your life!
I always take the "intimate" relationship to include friendships. I share more openly with my buddies than I do with my life ... as she has withdrawn her intimacy with me.
@@stevesmith6385Yes!! You nailed it this way. I haven't seen any desirable men around me in a while and it's fine with me. I feel at the right time and most likely an unexpected place a partner will come. I'm not even worried about it. In the meantime, I'm fulfilled with the close quality friendships I have.
I really like the philosophy of JP on this but one problem i have is that i think he puts too much emphasis on personal responsibility, it gives people a sense of control but life is also random and- as he says -tragedys happen to everyone. You don't have to be a perfect partner to be worthy of love, that's an impossible goal. He likes to bring up the gospels but one of the central ideas in the gospel is something like: you can't be everything God wants you to be, only Jesus could do that. You just have to believe he provides you in what you need and he forgave your sins, that's enough.
He has never claimed you could be everything. He has always said to AIM for that and the only way to aim is to take full responsibility along the way. And he has never asked anyone to act like they’re in control of everything, he said, when life goes to hell because of its randomness and tragedy, IF you were taking full responsibility prior, you can sleep at night even during the tragedy. Wouldn’t it be better to face tragedy without hating yourself ? I think so. That’s his point.
I would say no. The combination of high intelligence and high wisdom makes you a great thinker. High wisdom lets you find the right path, but you won’t necessarily be able to articulate why it’s the right path. High intelligence allows you to articulate the virtues of a particular path, but you might be singing the praises of the path to hell. A great thinker, at least to my understanding, is one who can articulate the virtues of the right path.
This guy has disappointed me when he went into politics. But anyhow.. i still like his message. It is necessary. The way i see it, we share a common enemy. Modernity, toxic feminism, demonising masculinity etc... but when it comes into politics, we are different. He is a Christian, i am a Muslim. He supports israel, i support Palestine. So we are different. But share a common enemy on other things

I think for people like you and I, that may be true. Our stories are almost identical.

Intimate relationship can be anyone, not just a partner. Intimacy starts with yourself, a higher power and then someone else
Thank you.
I love this ❤❤
Amen at 6:14 Inside this man the spirit of GOD is working and I don't mean Allah. I mean the one true living GOD Jesus Christ.

You have to be careful to put others first. Always put yourself first. If you put others first, they will call you too nice.
Are you a teenager?
@anima-scribentis no, read "no more mr. Nice guy " you will get more context 😉
Smart girl - she doesn't understand that food gives her energy. Yeah, she sounds like the next Carl Jung
