I'd like you guys to do a accuracy and range upgrade on a TM MP7 AEP I have unfortunately I live in America :( is there anything I can do about this other than buying a plane ticket? I didn't see a mail order option, but I might just be stupid. and if there isn't anything I can do, what would you suggest doing? most of the techs around me haven't worked on a TM AEP in like six years, and I can't do the normal accuracy improving bucking swap because the MP7 apparently doesn't have one
Hi, I recently got a Tokyo Marui HK416 Devgru (next gen recoil), I’ve had the BTC Spectre mosfet installed & the gear box has been upgraded as well as it’s been wired to deans. However they didn’t do a barrel upgrade & told me the original TM barrel & Hop would work just fine. However I’m still thinking about upgrading the inner barrel, & I’ve been thinking about using a Maple Leaf Crazy Jet 290mm with a Maple Leaf Hop rubber. Is this something you guys at #KingdomOfAirsoft would recommend..? Will this disassembly video also work the same on my Devgru..? So I can follow along.. Thanks guys, great & very educational videos 👍🏼
Very cool video Sam. Would like to see second part of Motor Winding Tutorial. Also, what do you think about using this "standard" hop rubber and roller nub? Honestly. Is there much difference compared to flat hop? Range, grouping of BB's etc...
I'll record the second part of the motor winding tutorial once the next batch of motors come in for Blueprinting (won't be long now) :-) The TM hop rubber is excellent for up to about 0.28g ammo. The Prometheus Purple hop rubber gives a slight fps boost (about 8 fps) and is perfect for 0.3g ammo. A flat hop gives a longer contact area so can be used for up to around 0.36g ammo with less of a power drop. My main problem with flat-hopping is that it wears out faster than an R-Hop and results can vary greatly depending on the nub and hop rubber used. I've found the long range grouping tend to be only marginally better. If you don't want to use an R-Hop for whatever reason, a good flat-hop is an excellent alternative. Bear in mind that most of the benefits centre around the ammo itself, which is a far greater variable.
Thank you Sam. I do mostly Flat hops. Bridge type can be awesome, but sometimes hard to adjust. And I'm afraid they wear out faster. You're by far,my favorite Tuber, thanks.
The standard hop chambers are excellent and don't need to be upgraded. I fact, all of the aftermarket hop chambers are worse than the TM ones. I'd recommend focusing on the hop rubber, barrel and if you're able to use heavy ammo, an R-Hop. My preferred setup would be an EdGI barrel, Prometheus Purple Hop Rubber and an original R-Hop with one of my flat nubs.
i agree. I bought purple rubber and a prometheus precision barrell today. also i will upgrade a prometheus nozzle and a dmac (a italian modder) air kit. Thank you so much
4 years later and this is still useful, thanks Sam!
Very useful, informative video. Glad it was here, helped me out with my new toy. Thank you.
Is this similar (if not the same) to a hop unit in the TM Recoil Scar-L ? Thanks

Always informative, I watch you vids even if I don't own the gun shown! I always seem to learn something from your tutorials. Great channel :)
So these guns use normal aeg barrels, buckings and nubs? If not, please explain to me.
yes that's correct
Very nice and useful!
Could you please tell how do you clean airsoft barrells?
Love the videos!!! Can you advise on the retro arms trigger wether they fit the TM recoils? If not another brand? Thanks mate
Hey could you tell me the difference between the next generation and the standard recoils? thanks

if im useing 0.25g bb's with with a stock scar (apart from prommy barrel) is it worth upgrade to prommy purple bucking?
Thanks for the video, really helped a lot.
i found there is a small ring on the barrel. what does the ring do? i don't know where to put back it
The small brass ring goes in the front end of the hop chamber around the inner barrel.
It's there to support the inner barrel in the hop chamber :)
Kingdom of Airsoft thank you very much
@@KingdomofAirsoftUK Is this the same as the 416 Delta hop unit?
does a titan gate mosfet work on a recoil shock? i was gonna wait and buy a btc but does it work with the gate mosfet?
there a new Gate titan mosfet for NGRS
Hi, can you suggest me a precision hopup chamber to upgrade on a tm hk416c sre Next gen. Thanks
