    my iPhone 6 is all screwed the metal is kinda bent around my home button and my headphone jack doesn't work anymore Ive had this phone for 2 years now but want to know if its work getting a new back or just taking my phone apart and changing the parts because Apple told me that I would have to get a whole new phone if I wanted all that stuff to work instead of them just fixing it I have an iPhone 6 that doesn't work anymore but the phone is still in decent shape should I just take out the internals and put in that phone? that's my question lol

    • @Repairsuniverseusa
      @Repairsuniverseusa  8 лет назад +1

      +SoraRoxasKHII As long as the components from the old iphone are in good working order, you should be able to just swap out the motherboards with our any problem.

    Any idea how to re-calibrate the touchscreen? After re-installing the module, I notice that the touch screen is really sensitive detecting hovering fingers, and occasionally generating false touches.

      The only way I know to re-calibrate the touch is to do a complete system restore via iTunes on your PC.

    I followed your video, took apart to clean out juice that had leaked in. Put back together and phone works great aside from overheating. Any suggestions?

      anthony hill You may want to replace the battery. That is what may be causing the issue.
