Great blokes most of them, mates for life, worked hard, and played hard at the pub after knock off time. Cooks River, Enfield, Port Botany, Clyde, Saleyards, Flemington Markets and Darling Harbour, not forgetting the colourful nicknames either...

I remember in a class at Petersham sometime in the 80's for a day or two, and Clyde Collings (one arm) was one of the instructor. His friends refer him as "three wheeler". I also recognized few faces of those new blokes as I was a shunter at Enfield from 1982 to 1990, and also work as relief in many places including sale yard, than transfer to Delec than to the spark. Thank you for the upload, I cherished those memories.

I worked at 509 Pit Street. Railway medical staff and police were also there. A lot of shunters worked with me, they had all sustained work injuries.
