It was pathetic game control by the ref/tmo.
They changed the rules in July this year. Try and conversion can be overturned provided it’s made before the restart. Something about allowing the broadcast to be made available to the TMO. Imho, basically the editing team need more time to manipulate the images, lol.

They were robbed!!! The ref gave England 25 mins of ridiculous calls as did the video ref, that was an embarrassment for world rugby. I can't remember one refs name from 20 years ago, nowadays all we hear is the refs, they have zero accountability and have ruined a once great game. No wonder kids don't want to play rugby anymore.

Read lots of ill informed anti English comments and factual nonsense about the TMO , there were 4 tries disallowed, two each, only one was debatable and that was the Chessum try, looked like he scored legally to me, as for the other decisions they were all correct under the laws of the game infact they were obvious to anyone who is objective sadly many aren't. England deserved to win because they scored more points however poor you think they were.
