I think every car guy in the world remembers the 1000Hp Veyron, (Non -SS) did 0-60 in 2.5s and we can naturally assume that a lighter car with more Hp and more "brains" will be quicker than it's predecessor. Not by much as we are near the limits of tire technology. In the real world it is hard to replicate a perfect run every single time.

So 0-400-0 km/h in less than 60 seconds is possible.

Autocar tested the Veyron SS with 22.2 sec. from 0-200 mph. 6 seconds faster than that, not even considering the traction issues at the start, are not bad i think. The acceleration from 150mph + ist just insane.

I believe it is because the engine revs up after the upshifts and then the traction control cuts power momentarily, basically the wheels are probably spinning at 95 kph even though the car is traveling at 67 kph. The traction control still had to intervene at around 120 kph even though the car has all wheel drive because of the immense power. Please note that I am unsure whether or not this is the actual reason, however I would think it is because of power and traction.

That is what they need for safety car of F1 to follow the pack at the start. the time they should look is 0 to 280 kph (in 12.12 secs on this video; they should look for sub 12.5 secs) & then test the time of 0 to 275 kph in the rain, to make sure the wet wether tyres are up to scratch too. & make a benchmark lap on the F1 circuits of the calendar (years 2019 - 2022) (+ the nurburoring).

You can see the gear changing under the digital speedo next to the "D" and it clearly switches at different intervals then to where the rev counter is dropping back.
