@@renewd yeah I plugged it into desmos, and it shows me the graph but my teacher will not let us use desmos so I'm trying to learn how to do it on paper.
its positive x when x is greater than zero and negative x when x is smaller than 0, its easy when you write it out like this, but seeing it in the video ties a knot in your head, but other than that the videos been fantastically helpful
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a solid explanation of Limits and Absolute in Calculus One. Analyzing limits with absolute values from the left and right sides is best way to understand them. Graphing them with a TI-83/84 calculator or using an online graphing tool is also helpful.
Wow thank you so much sir , now I got answer why negative of limit |x|/x is in negative , I forgotten had X on denominator 🙈🙈 just seeing mod why value getting in negative ☺️☺️☺️☺️😀😀😆😆👏👏👏
it's the other way round ... tbh when i was writing my notes in class i made that mistake. When i looked at my book i was stressing because it wasn't making sense to me. so it's quite ironic for me.
This is absolutely wonderful. But a question… If we are asking for the limit as x -> 4 from the left side, wouldn’t we use -4.1 (instead of -3.9)?? We’ll still get the same answer of the limit being 1, but…would -4.1 not be the approach from the left?

Same
forreal
Same
too real
I realize I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
I think you miswritten x0 at 3:03. They're supposed to be swapped. Regardless, thanks for ur effort in making these videos!
saw that too
That's right
just saw it
ahhh thanjk you
yeah i was confuse for a sec
thanks sir...i never understood limits till now...this series has been a life saver
mad respect, my calc teacher gave me headache and you were the relief
For anyone interested, it is helpful to graph these functions (desmos or other) after finding the limits algebraically.
How do you graph this last question
@@BrianGarcia-xc6bf type y = (x^2 - 1)/|x - 1| You will graphically see the different limits from the left and the right side.
@@renewd yeah I plugged it into desmos, and it shows me the graph but my teacher will not let us use desmos so I'm trying to learn how to do it on paper.

You have an error at 2:55. Got it backwards...👍
bruh i thought i was going insane lol
hahahaha, I thought I was retarded at that moment, lmao.
lol I'm glad you pointed it out, I thought I was going nuts there
yeah man, gosh thanks for pointing it out, my eyes were starting to hurt from looking at it and trying to figure out where i got it wrong.

why in piece wise function part (3: 00), the | x | / x is 1 when x < 0 and -1 when x > 0?
I think he miss wrote it

you are the best ... the way you explain is just amazing.I'm studying mathematics and I love watching your videos..
Dude do you teach every subject cuz you are my jennie i can literally find everything i ask in your chanel, you save me
Very good
I literally cried when I found your video
Love from India
Is it everything correct at 3:03.
Overall, thanks.
i don't think 3:03 is correct either.
Yeah bro its not true
@@aneeshussain6200 i noted that too
ur literally my savior thank you so much
JazakAllah khair 🌟
Thank you so much for your video man. God bless you.
thank you so much! this video saved me! i thought i was never going to find help for this specific problem :)
you videos are very good, you are helpful af and this channel id better than a professor. I am subscribing right now.
....what if the numerator is different from the denominator -_-
Wow thank you so much sir , now I got answer why negative of limit |x|/x is in negative , I forgotten had X on denominator 🙈🙈 just seeing mod why value getting in negative ☺️☺️☺️☺️😀😀😆😆👏👏👏
There is something wrong at 3:03
it's the other way round ... tbh when i was writing my notes in class i made that mistake. When i looked at my book i was stressing because it wasn't making sense to me. so it's quite ironic for me.
Great explanation❤❤
Thank you for this video! It really helped me!
8:11 we were told that we can't put equal signs when limits DNE because theres nothing to equate to
Saved my life jee 🎉 And Excatly Advanced concepts

The best teacher
3:02 this is wrong, right?
|x|/x == x/x =1 for x>0 and x/-x = -1 for x
just correcting a mistake, iev learnt SO MUCH from this channel and I hope you keep up the great work
Thank you very much, sir
It's amazing as usual.
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Can someone explain me what is the limit of
|sin(x)|^tan(x)
Plz..
Why it is equall to the limit of
e^tanxln|sinx| ?
Both side log

Oh, wait, I see now.
Never mind.
In the question in 3:00 we can use L' hospital rule and it will be 1
I don’t think 5:49 is right.... if the question is finding the right limit is’t the answer +1?
Truly amazing
lmao has limit ever existed while being in absolute value
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whomsoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Man so happy that he started praying😂

Thank you soooo much, you best possible to find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work

The entire video had two different examples the first example and last one , and he could explain it in 10 mins
so plus or minus 1 is the answer to everything?
The guy behind my zenith
sir if in case if |x|/x lim tends to infinity then how we solve this???
Very good. Thanks

Thnks alot 🙏
Push it to the limit
x^2 - 4 / | x-2 | lim x ---> approaches 2 from left ...
a)4 b)1 c)0 d)-4 e) doesnt exist.
How absolute value is continuous if its limit doesn't exists ???
3:11 can't get
i don't understand at all how the absolute value of x can come out negative

L'hopital, L'hopital and L'hopital!😂
what if you got absolute values in both numerator and denominator
as in lim x->0 ((abs(x^(2)-1)-1)/(abs(x)))
Really helpful! Thanks.

hello guys simple question here wtf cant absolute value of 0/0 be 0??
Not sure if I’m correct but denominator can’t be 0. It would usually make it undefined or indicate that further factoring can be done.
