While i was watching the video i realized why this cognitive distortion has so grip on me. My thought process goes something like this: "Crap! There is a chance that X might happen. What can I do now to prevent it or reduce the damage it can cause?" and so i worry and try to find solutions to a possible problem that hasn't come yet, and may never come.
