Hats off to Adam and the team on their successful rescue. Imagine those few seconds for Adam who was close to Anurag, believing anurag is dead, and when Anurag moved it must be very scary and fearful for him deep down in crevasse in confined space. Of course, one can freak out in this situation or get a heart attack. Lots of prayers for Adam and everyone involved saving Anurag. May Godess Annpurna continue to bless Adam, and Team.
Thom, I do not know Webster’s Dictionary definition of “hero”, I’ve never looked for it because I think the title is misleading when it’s not sincere and real. That being said, I’m pretty sure all those that risked their own lives to perform what they originally thought was going to be a body recovery, deadly I it’s own ways, to a life rescue can hold the title of heroes! As the Polish climber explained, all things worked so well and were timed almost perfectly to optimize the injured climber’s chance at living. It just seems that there’s sometimes a Higher Power that takes , molds and uses these brave climbers. I do want to honor the Sherpas that stayed at camp because, if not for them, the Polish climbers never would have known where to go and the hard work they did to do to rescue this man. The Sherpa put their lives on the line, most of them young and inexperienced, to make a westerner’s dream of summiting come true. Ya just gotta love this story! The climbers will have a great time telling their grandchildren the day they saved a climber’s life! 🧗

Incredible story. So cool. What they did was so courageous and heroic. What a remarkable rescue: just the incredible skill, knowledge and dedication of all the rescuers - risking their own lives, but resulting in a happy ending - a life saved. Wow amazing hats off to them all
Wow! I answered in a resent poll you had about body recovery on Everest with a HARD NO. But after watching this incredible interview about this miraculous recovery of an ALIVE climber. I’ve changed my mind! 🙏🏽 ❤
I still say hard no. Actual deaths far exceed one or two miracle rescues. Too many climbers who just happen to be on the scene at the time, like these guys and the sherpas, are at tremendous risk when they are asked to retrieve bodies. Better for family and friends to pay a professional team to do it who is willing to accept the risks, and that includes the helicopter pilots.
@@zztop4996 I totally agree on so many of your points. I think in so many cases it undoubtedly puts others in mortal danger to attempt rescues. Especially when it comes to inexperience climbers. However there have been more than a few “miracles” on Everest of climbers in the “death zone” left over night in the freezing cold. Beck Weathers comes to mind. I come from a huge military family and was often told stories of NEVER leaving a man behind.
Woah... can you imagine the mindset you need to descend into a crevasse where someone disappeared 3 days earlier. All of the respect to everyone involved. And thank you for getting it documented.
When you hear of a first responder who is so proud that they saved a life it gives you an insight into the stuff they are made of. Well done guys, you made us proud of our beautiful species!
@@EverestMystery I have watched many over your videos over the last year or so that I've discovered this channel. Your videos are always really thoughtful, thought provoking, and attention gripping, while being considerate to those who are part (or who's families are a part) of the story. Excellent storytelling, videography, editing, while being a great human being. Thank you again good sir!!! And thank you for the response.
Adam Bieleski, thank you guys for an amazing rescue. I am 83 and have been following High Altitude Mountain Climbing for over 6o years. Amazing. You guys rule!!!
25:42 His mission assigned by his soul on that trip was never the expedition, it was actually the rescue, even though he didn’t know until the rescue. The rescue was never a coincidence. It was meant to be: everyone at the right place, at the right time 🙏
Amazing story! Human characters at it finest! True heartwarming actions from all involved to help out in a severe situation with the best outcome one can only dream off. Skilled people with great knowledge pulling off remarkable handlings. 😸 Very pleasing to see that Mr Anurag Maloo seem to have recover well also. I'm greatly looking forward to view your interview with him next week Thom!
Thank you for bringing this incredible story to us! I'm in awe of the courage people like Adam, his team and the Sherpas have shown. And how miraculous that everything fell in place just so. Anurag is a friend and gosh, we're all so grateful to have him back after those harrowing few days of not knowing but not losing hope.
Imagine falling into a deep dark and cold crevasse only to confront your horrific situation for 4 days and 3 nights. What a crazy rescue, and what a lucky man
@@pb99865there’s a reason they say you’re not dead until you’re warm and dead. Unless you’re frozen solid, of course, but the body has a remarkable way of almost “hibernating” in certain circumstances. This can happen in water as well if the water is cold enough.
Adam is so courageous! He saved him even though he was in danger going down in the crevice. He and the other rescuers were heroes! The helicopter pilot was wonderful. Such an inspiring story! Thank you! You made my day.
Adam comes over as such a kind and humble person. He was so kind and helpful to you during the interview too. Thank you for this wonderful interview and God bless all who made this rescue happen and successful, including the helicopter pilot and crew and the medical teams. God bless each and everyone 🙏
Definitely one of the most uplifting events in mountaineering. What a stark contrast to stories where some "mountaineers" put themselves before others.
This comment is more for the algorithm, but this video was so amazing! Talking about heart wrenching in a good way. So many people come across someone and aren't able or willing to save them on the mountain and it's so refreshing and wonderful to hear the story of someone who had all the resources perfectly aligned to be able to save someone when he wasn't even expecting him to still be alive. Amazing all around. And your videos are so great. Your attitude on the mountain is so unique to me where I feel that you have a true respect and it's given me such an in depth understanding of mountaineering. You've made history on that mountain and helped so many people. I just love your videos truly.
A big thank you the these two super heroes They were the God send Angels Pure souls U both will be remembered by India and all around the world in mountaineering history . A big thank you to the interviewer too for his enthusiasm
It is incredible difficult to do this rescue! You are heroes, and thank you very much for saving a human life and making the world a better place to live.
I hate to reiterate what so many others have already said, but I must. Stunning actions on all involved (anyone else notice the chopper pilot didn't even have both skids on the ground!). None of this would have happened without the willingness of both Adam and Mariusz to take on this dangerous task. When preparedness meets ability meets willingness, truly amazing things can happen. Just a breathtaking endeavor by all. And let's not forget Anurag himself. It takes a Herculean will and incredible survival instinct to have simply stayed alive down in that crevasse. I won't be forgetting this story anytime soon.
I will watch a few more videos from this channel. My first impression is that this man and his channel are a wonderful, beautiful level of pure, wholesome, and humble. I can not believe this . I love this interview and recounting of this miraculous event!
Like Adam said, if any of the pieces were missing that day, the mission wouldn't have been a success. It takes a big team's coordinated efforts to pull off something so miraculous. What a brave effort 💪 Thank you for bringing such stories here, restores our faith in humanity and miracles :) Also, thank you Thom for doing such interviews. Now waiting for Maloo's interview!
Bravo, a big salute to Andrzej and Mariusz, had a goosebumps hearing your rescue mission, your mom should be the proudest person in this world to have sons like you.

Speaking of people with huge balls - it doesn't get better that that. Risking lives 'only' to recover body, and universe gifting a saved life for that inhuman effort 🙏🏻
Thank you so much, dear Thom, for reaching out to Mario. None better than you to interview him! And thank you so much for sharing the names of all the good people who were involved in Anurag's rescue. Such a beautiful rescue and teamwork! Such a lovely guy Adam is. So professional, left his initial mission with Mario, knowing it was not safe to continue their endeavour, arriving at base and still curious to know how the climb of the others went, but to find that all the climbers had been helicoptered away, who were all in a party mood before the climb... The beautiful, good people were still on the mountain! loved how Adam shares the story, proficient, knowing how to protray the story that lay people like me understand abit what it means to have mountaineering skills (amazing) . Such expertise, so humble, giving credit to Mario and the others. The miracle of having a few more centimeters with the 70m rope. I had to smile, when he talks about the human side of being somehow spooked by a body and then the excitment to know that Anurag is alive. Changing his mode of operandi, showing experiece and craftmanship, care and respect.Anurag, you were blessed to have these guys (angels). A beautiful story of humanity.
Wow! Just checked Anurag's instagram. There is a video, filmed by himself, standing upright, still very alive, shouting "Helloooo!" praying and hoping someone would come to rescue him.
Amazing story, you guys risk your safety for a body. Most people would not have considered such a risk. You guys saved a man’s life and that was a very heroic act. Cheers
I am so blown away at this experience !!!! Adam and his climbing partner were definitely there on purpose ! They had accepting defeat on their goal and were thus able to do the rescue. And thanks to you for your great interview. It would be great for you to do a video detailing these two brave rescuers lives and how they came to be at this exact place at this exact time

Call it God or whatever faith you adhere to. Angels were all around. Thank you for sharing this with me and so many others. Grateful. Bless all involved.❤ Lisette
Great interview. Amazing story. I'm a big fan of Adam as I'm also Polish. He is a machine not a human beeing ;) amazing fitness and body efficiency. What they did together with Urubko on Nanga rescue was also amazing. I remember "watching" it live on internet - more like watchin their gps trackers and commentary. ummmm...so risking lives to rescue a person who is aliveimplies that DEAD people should inspire the same life and death risks .....how?WHAT?
What an INCREDIBLE story! That was amazing... wow.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. It means a lot when viewers let me know they appreciate the content.
You were where you needed to be to save a man’s life. I call that a successful day ❤
Such generosity and courage was shown by all those who were involved in Anurag's survival. Stories like this restores one's faith in human beings.
Thanks brother. Being an Indian I am proud of you and your team. God bless you all.
Glad to have you here...have you seen the interview with Anurag? I am sure you will enjoy it: ruclips.net/video/rOtiMUsdScA/видео.html
It was meant to be: everyone at the right place, at the right time 🙏
I love that part of the interview! Yes, synchronicity with the Universe.... Thanks so much for watching!
Your comment is spot on! The sole purpose of his expedition was to rescue this climber indeed, even if he was unaware. Wow! What a beautiful miracle!
We can only imagine how many factors came in one place and at one time… that was sign for everyone there, that they are of piece of big plan from God.
Amazing story! Human characters at it finest! True heartwarming actions from all involved to help out in a severe situation with the best outcome one can only dream off. Skilled people with great knowledge pulling off remarkable handlings. 😸
Very pleasing to see that Mr Anurag Maloo seem to have recover well also.
Simply amazing 😮 👏👏👏 I'd goosebumps all over my body. Can't wait to see interview with Anurag. Amazing work, thank you Thom👌👏
Adam and Mariuz are real men and heroes. Thank you guys for saving a life.
Thank you, amazing Poles Adam Bielecki and Marius Hatala !!! Poles are heroes!!!
Yes, heroes indeed!
Imagine falling into a deep dark and cold crevasse only to confront your horrific situation for 4 days and 3 nights. What a crazy rescue, and what a lucky man
I don't think he was conscious...he was in a hypothermic coma which preserved his body & brain
Can bodies be preserved like this?
@@pb99865there’s a reason they say you’re not dead until you’re warm and dead. Unless you’re frozen solid, of course, but the body has a remarkable way of almost “hibernating” in certain circumstances. This can happen in water as well if the water is cold enough.
What a humble super hero!
Bought tears to my eyes. What legends. Many thanks
Yeah, this one really had a big impact on me, too. Thanks for watching
Adam is an amazing human being!
Perfect story, conveyed professionally w/ exceptional editing, which truly makes a huge difference 👏! Amazing
Thank you SO much, these comments give me another reason to keep working on the stories and putting them out there.
Agree!!! ❤❤
Such a great story of the human spirit, and heroism by these hero's. Humanity is still alive in this world. God bless these climbers.
Your words mean a lot to me. Comments like yours motivate me to keep sharing experiences like these. Thank you for being here!
A big thank you the these two super heroes
They were the God send Angels
Pure souls U both will be remembered by India and all around the world in mountaineering history .
A big thank you to the interviewer too for his enthusiasm
Thank you so much for saving Anurag, Adam 🙏. Wonderful interview.
That guy is very analytical. I would trust him. Definitely a hero!
What an incredible story! Thank you Universe for putting Adam and everyone else right where they were!! Brilliant content my friend!
Adam is truly amazing soul,he did a incredible rescue.🙏
Thank you a true hero! Glad to see some people still care about their fellow humans unlike those other climbers stepping over that poor fella
It is incredible difficult to do this rescue! You are heroes, and thank you very much for saving a human life and making the world a better place to live.
One of the best interviews I’ve been able to view and listen to!!!!!!!
Yes, this one is the real deal!
Perfect timing, perfect execution, perfect skillset, perfect team, perfect interview...
I will watch a few more videos from this channel. My first impression is that this man and his channel are a wonderful, beautiful level of pure, wholesome, and humble. I can not believe this . I love this interview and recounting of this miraculous event!
Finding life, rescue surpasses ANY SUMMIT So many recues become recoveries.
Great statement... Thank you for watching!
Yes, it's wild to think that if one tiny thing had changed, the ending could have been very different
Bravo, a big salute to Andrzej and Mariusz, had a goosebumps hearing your rescue mission, your mom should be the proudest person in this world to have sons like you.
Stay tuned for my interview with Anurag, coming up this week!~. Thanks for watching
What a story, thank you 👍 and big respect to Adam and Mariusz 🇵🇱
I'm glad you found the video, thanks for taking the time to watch it. I have a great interview with Anurag that you might enjoy: ruclips.net/video/rOtiMUsdScA/видео.html
Miracles happen because of people with hearts, skills and courage ... uncredible story and interview with Adam (loved his smiles). Will join here again when you speak to Anurag. Flabbergasthed greets from Austria
It's great having you here....thank you. I'm overwhelmed with the many wonderful comments and the love for this story. It's a natural...people are drawn to kindness, courage, humility... Thanks for watching!
Cheers
Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. These guys really went to the limit to save a life.
Adam Bielecki, Mariusz and all the people involved are hero’s. What a wonderful story.
A true hero, I remember the amazing rescue he and Denis Urubko did on Nanga Parbat. He represents the best of climbing.
Andrzej Bielecki. What a fantastic human being you are. Thank you!
I am so blown away at this experience !!!! Adam and his climbing partner were definitely there on purpose ! They had accepting defeat on their goal and were thus able to do the rescue. What an interview Thom!! Thank u so much for bringing this amazing and stunning g content ! Many blessings to all involved in this rescue !
I seen this from day one., one of the most amazings acts of love I have ever seen. I was hoping to see how things have travelled along, so thankyou for this update.
Appreciate Adam , Maurish and the Nepali accompanying with them....Truly great...God bless you all...
The human spirit is so uplifting. Just wow.
Adam and Mariusz are real deal! 💪Thank you for the interview
So glad you enjoyed it!
It makes you wonder about the competence of his team mates. This story shows that true hero's do exist. Thanks for bringing this to us Thom😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it....thank you!
Wow! This is an absolutely incredible story! Hats off to these two real life Angel's, Adam and Mariesz. Still cant believe Anurag survived. Thanks to all who helped save this mans life. And thanks to you for your great interview. It would be great for you to do a video detailing these two brave rescuers lives and how they came to be at this exact place at this exact time
This interview... WOW❤ Best minutes of my day! Mr. Bielecki, congratulations on your skill, selflessness and heart. Regards from Brazil
It's unbelievable, but truly a miracle. I'm so stunned by the actions of the rescuers, and they need all the praises. Timing and experience with the help and direction of a higher being. Call it God or whatever faith you adhere to. Angels were all around.
Thank you for sharing this with me and so many others.
Grateful.
Bless all involved.❤
Lisette
Thank you for watching ~ my interview with Anurag is amazing too. I’ll be editing that very soon
Call it human skill and ingenuity not ridiculous god nonsense
Geeze, I needed a feel good story like you wouldn't believe. The world is in so much pain right now, so kudos to everyone involved.
Their ascend speed was out of mind. Check out that story too.
Big big respect. All the best for all of You.
Brawo Adam! Jestem dumna ze jestem Polka i jestem dumna że sa jeszcze Ludzi3 przed duze L. 😊
My utmost heartfelt blessings to Adams and Mariusz for such an act of bravery kindness and compassion …. Unparalleled….. God sent at that moment….. ❤❤❤❤
As usually, quality content. Nice to have this story laid out by the Adam himself. Surely one of the most unbelievable rescue missions. And well done Sir for your effort in Adam's surname pronunciation 😀
You noticed that I got the name right! :) I had Adam say it for me specifically, numerous times....lol....and it took a bit but I finally got Mariusz's first name, still working a bit on Hatala. Cheers and thank you!
Wonderful story. It really shows what can be done when everything goes exactly right. Kudos to these amazing people. Thank you for bringing it to us.
So glad that you took the time to watch, thank you! In about a week, I will share my interview with Anurag. Thanks for visiting the channel!
It really seems as Andrzej was not supposed to be successful on Annapurna as he was there to perform this rescue! Very well done!
Amazing! Thank you for sharing their story!
What an incredible story and this Polish guy is an absolute superstar.....that must be a truly amazing feeling to know that you pulled someone out of what could have been his grave . Anurag was truly blessed that the Polish guys were in that place at the right time 🙏
Insane story- not sure how this doesn’t have millions of views
What a fact you have shared while i know this from news paper but you shared complete story. Heartfelt thanks to the recue team. God Bless
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you were able to get more information and the complete story. The rescue team deserves all the appreciation for their hard work. God bless them indeed!
Thanks to the entire rescue team for this great save! Indeed it is a miracle coupled with the brave action of these heroes🙏
Outstanding heroism!!
