I'm new to this (62yr old male), and I was wanting to make something personal for my first Grandchild due in April 2016.I thought a pair of mittens with a matching Beanie and matching booties would be nice, gotta make them all in pink and blue though lol. What a great, easy to follow tutorial.I did this along with you , pausing and starting when required. It looks lovely, now to replay it and do the 2nd one.Thank you for the time you took to add this.Posts like this are invaluable to beginners like me.

Brilliant! Thank you so much! I'm a not-very-confident crochet-er but your instructions are so clear and precise that I think I might be able to actually make these as a baby gift. Again, many thanks for the tutorial.

Thank you so much for this beautifully explained tutorial for making these adorable baby scratch mittens, I’m a fairly new crocheter and taught myself to crochet with RUclips videos. I like making baby things as they are quick and easy for a couple nieces and nephews (wives) that have had babies in the UK, I live in Canada now so have mailed them. This set I made for a co-worker who was having a baby girl and I made them in white with a pale pink cuff, I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and a 3.5mm hook. I will be making more crochet projects from your site soon! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing projects!

your videos are very easy to follow. made 2 of these for my neice, i did pink as the base and white at the top. very cute. i also braided some yarn and fed it through the gaps to make a drawstring.

These are absolutely adorable!! I ❣️ them. My daughter just delivered Thursday after a looooong 28 hour labor!! I've made several items that are on the way from Florida to Kentucky where its been running from 30-40°. I've made 2 beanies, 3 pair of Mittens, a huge blanket that fits her crib perfectly. I want to make her at least 3 or 4 receiving sized blankets if anyone has some different stitches. I've made 4 pair of booties. The Ugh ones turned out SOOOO cute. I'm having a total blast. If anyone has any unusual patterns or stitches I'd be more than grateful to give them a try. Just send me in the right direction. Thanks everyone.

I'm so happy you shared this. I've been looking for the perfect little gift to give my friend at church. I made her a little scrapbook, but wanted something extra. Since I don't know if her baby is a boy or girl, I'm gifting white ones. :) Thanks again!

Thank you so much for posting this pattern - I was able to crochet a pair of Spider-Man coloured scratch mitts for my newborn nephew. I used a 3.5mm hook with worsted weight yarn - they were a little big but he'll soon grow into them:) It is a nice short project that is super-portable: I finished the 2nd mitt on the ride there! You are fantastically talented and super articulate. I appreciate your videos because of the easy-to-follow-if-you've-never-done-that-stitch-before pace!

Thanks so much I've just made these for my baby nephew .Im going to make a larger pair and just want to know when you get to the top and do the front post decrease ....do I decrease as this pattern at each side and just fill the gap with however many stitches are in between? Not sure I've explained myself correctly? I love your channel thanks for all the effort you put in your a great teacher.
