Mam I have to ask one more question that the maximum body temperature is 40 degree celsius , then why is it 42 degree celsius in a clinical thermometer?

Thanks for your question! Normal body temperature varies from person to person, and can range from 36.5°C (97.7°F) to 37.5°C (99.5°F). Clinical thermometers are designed to measure the temperature of the body accurately and safely, so the reading is slightly higher than the normal body temperature. One thing mam, in the slidr it's written that the Bulb of lab thermometer should be entirely dipped in the solution, but you read it ' should not be dipped'.. So what's written in the slide is wrong or you got confused??
