light photons se bani he kyuki light ki speed tak pohoch ne ke liye mass less hona padta he aur hame photons ka mass nahi pata matlab ki woh mass less he thats why we say that ki light photons se bani he actually photons ka koi mass abhi measure hua nahi he isiliye woh light ke speed se chalte he hum yeh is liye bolte he
sir!!! just think about it ki jabhi bhi photons ka mass measure hua to kitni theorys ko hame rearrange karna padega ? aur unke accurate results kab tak aayenge? kitna time lage ga system ko un theorys ko samaj ne me ?
Just think about it sir think about it

This might be impossible to prove with todays's science in my opinion . For a clearer spectrum , let's start with the definition of matter . Matter is anything which occupies space and has mass . Light has photons but there mass is 0 (mass can't be zero but still ... we have many things to discover) and by my logic , light doesn't take up space too (very less to be negligible) . And , if we come on the thing that can light(energy) be converted into matter ?? The answer is yes , but it would require large amounts of energy not measured by mankind .

    yes light is matter:
1)first of all light is a form of energy that gives us the sensation of vision . And it can be converted to matter by the famous equation of albert einstein E=mc square.
2)light is nothing but a soup of photons , and photons are nothing but photonoic matter. Therefore, light is a matter too.
I hope this reasons are helpful for ur curious minds!

Photons are the components of electromagnetic waves, and these waves have energy but no mass. How's that possible? Let me tell you how. As E=mc² says, every matter which has energy has mass, photons which are called packed of energy should have mass too, and they do have it, they might not have rest mass but they do have something called relative mass (mass obtained in relation with some other property like velocity). But why? Coz matter has rest mass when they are stable and can exist in nature normally, but photons or electromagnetic waves are never in rest but exist only in the form of waves when they are in continuous motion, thus we can say that photons are packets of energy traveling at the speed of light which have relative mass.
Due to this unique property they are classified as elementary particles. (things that make up other particles)

Visible light (or simply light) is an electromagnetic radiation. It has the wavelength ranges from 380 nm-780 nm. Light exists in tiny packets called photons. Photons have no rest mass and they do not occupy any volume. So light is not matter.😅😊

  • @Edumnxs
    @Edumnxs 2 года назад +12

12:20 Light is made of particles called photons, bundles of the electromagnetic field that carry a specific amount of energy. With sufficiently sensitive experiments, you can count photons or even perform measurements on a single one. Researchers have even frozen light temporarily.

Here's a breakdown of some of the more common states of matter, beyond the basics:
    Solid: Ice, diamond, wood
    Liquid: Water, mercury, oil
    Gas: Air, helium, steam
Plasma: Lightning, the sun, fluorescent lights
Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC): Ultra-cold atoms near absolute zero, used in research
Fermionic Condensate: Similar to BEC but with fermions, also used in research
Superfluid: Liquid helium at extremely low temperatures, exhibiting frictionless flow
Supercritical Fluid: Carbon dioxide above its critical point used in decaffeination
Colloids: Milk, fog, paint, where particles are dispersed in a medium
Liquid Crystals: Found in LCD displays, exhibiting properties of both liquids and solids
Supersolid: A hypothetical solid with the properties of a superfluid, still being researched
    More Specialized States:
Degenerate Matter: Found in white dwarf stars and neutron stars, extremely dense
Quark-Gluon Plasma: Believed to exist in the early universe, where quarks and gluons are not bound together
Rydberg Matter: Highly excited atoms used in quantum computing research
Photonic Matter: A state of light that acts like matter, still in the experimental phase
String-Net Liquid: A theoretical state of matter found in certain materials with unusual properties
Exotic Matter: Hypothetical matter with strange properties like negative mass, not yet confirmed
Dark Matter: A hypothetical form of matter that doesn't interact with light, making up a significant portion of the universe
Strange Matter: A hypothetical state of matter composed of strange quarks, potentially existing in neutron stars
Quantum Spin Liquid: A state of matter where electrons are in a constant state of motion, leading to unusual magnetic properties
Topological Insulator: A material that conducts electricity only on its surface, with potential applications in electronics
Time Crystal: A hypothetical state of matter that exhibits periodic behavior in time, potentially useful for quantum computing
    Key Points:
The number of "states of matter" is a complex topic with no single definitive answer.
This list is just a sampling, and more states could be added or debated.
Scientific research is constantly exploring and defining new states of matter!

If we look at the definition of matter " Anything that has mass and occupies space is called matter". Now as Gurav sir said, light is made up of photons, and photons don't have but do occupies space, AND according to definition of matter, photons do fulfill one condition but defies second one. So I think light is not matter 😅😅😅😅😅. Idk maybe , we should define matter again or put light in some other category.
By the way, this is just my opinion you can agree or disagree with that.

Light is not matter, but rather a form of energy:

Definition of matter: Matter is defined as anything that has mass and occupies space.

Characteristics of light: Light is made up of tiny packets of energy called photons, which have no mass and don't take up space.

Classification: Light is a type of electromagnetic radiation that falls between the ultraviolet and infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum

First thing: Light occupies space, but very differently tahn matter
Light doesn't occupy any physical space, it is form of electromagnetic radiation, which consists of oscillating electric and magnetic fields that travel through space at the speed of light, but matter is not like this.
    and, the Second thing:
the definition of matter is: ANYTHING which occupies space and has MASS
light sure does occupy space in a way, but then... IT DOESN'T HAS ANY MASS! So, it doesn't fit any criteria for being a matter.
I hope this clears the doubt.
    Thank you.

Those other states of matter are purely derived by first basic primitive matters,By the way nice effort to make an outstanding video but Science is really very hardest mystery which can't be solved(without ❗ exclamation mark!) so science textbooks only focus on simple things so as not to frighten the students otherwise they will surely skip to choose science stream in 11th Standard as still the percentage of science choosing candidates are really very low in our country as compared to arts(humanities),or commerce when the science textbooks only teach us about three major states of matter if the science book starts to teach us other states of matter majority candidates will start to hate science! 😂🤣

Matter is defined as anything that has mass and occupies volume. Visible light (or simply light) is an electromagnetic radiation. It has the wavelength ranges from 380 nm-780 nm. Light exists in tiny packets called photons. Photons have no rest mass and they do not occupy any volume. So light is not matter. It is the radiation of energy.

Light, or electromagnetic radiation, does not have a state of matter because it is not a material substance made up of atoms or molecules. Rather, it is a form of energy that travels through space in the form of waves or particles called photons.
While light can interact with matter and cause it to change state, such as by heating a solid to melt it into a liquid or vaporize it into a gas, light itself does not have a physical state of matter.
