Thanks mate really appreciate it. Tomorrow morning I’m making a video ( if all works out haha ) where I’m going to use my sounder to try hunt the fish before I even drop the jig/bait so will be focusing on sounder a lot more as I’m keen to learn this Garmin unit. Keep an eye out. Cheers mate 🎣✅👍🏻

Nice catch👍. Win win with the ski, you get to use it for fishing and the company gets advertising via you on RUclips 👌. That snapper i think was borderline from snapping your 20lb leader. If you hooked a big one ie 10kg you would have gotten smoked and probably assumed it was a shark. Big snapper will bust 80/100lb leader easy with the powerful runs and head shakes. I know it's a toss up between going light and getting the bite, but for me super early in the morning its pretty dark and 100lb has got me some trophy inshore snapper.
Hey mate, cheers for watching yes win win for sure, just hope the boys over at Seadoo Bayswater get the same value that I get from all this 🤞🏻✅🎣 yeah I actually missed the first run on film and I told my self it was a shark but in the back of my mind it did look like a big steaming snapper run 😅 iv always just used light gear for the Inshore as I’m confident it gets more eats. But you give me a good video idea haha, I’ll dust off some of my late old man’s old school heavy gear load that up with heavy line & leader and fish it along side my light gear. Will be good fun and a bit of a test, cheers for watching man 🎣✅👍🏻
@@rush.gang.fishing i use a Saragossa 8,000 with 50lb braid on it and sitting on a Shimano terez rod . I put a swivel on the 50lb braid and run roughly 40cm of 100lb leader with double snelled black magic KL 7/0's and a mullie or fresh herring fillet or skippy fillet etc 👌 For sure next early morning run a 50lb braid and 100lb double snelled KL 7 0's set up and catch the big one 🤘.If the big fish are there and you have a nice bait presented to them they will smash it.
I’ll give it a go I reckon after we have had a storm etc when we have a bit more of a chance at the big inshore snapper. First/bugger all light I reckon the heavy gear could def be on 🎣🎣✅
The ski's are great but I prefer to have a little bit more boat around me just in case a white shows up 👍

Nicely done Jack. Looks like the deeper water does produce for the dhuies. Bit hard for me to get out in the deeper water as I have to go slow and take care of my fishing buddy. What a great bag with that duh and a snapper. Mint

Certainly was a damn good way to christen the beast 🔥 hoping I can do much the same tomorrow 🙏🏼 no side scan on this Garmin but I don’t know how to use that anyway haha 😜 very tidy touch screen unit with a through hull transducer and reads pretty well at speeds. Still plenty to learn with it but I’ll get there eventually 😅 bring on the morning 🚀🚀🎣
@@rush.gang.fishing Interested to know how the touch screen goes. I opted out on that as I had heard they are a pain in the ass if they get water on them. I know my phone freaks out if a water droplet rolls across the screen.
Interested to know if they have fixed that. (Or if it was never actually a problem.)
Man my phone fully freaks out with even one drop of water 😂😂 this Garmin is insane even with drops of water all over it, it hasn’t let me down not once. The technology is insane. In the vid I just put up iv had a bit of a play around with the sounder and now have it reading bottom really well 🎣👍🏻✅

Hey mate cheers for watching ✅🎣 sitting makes it easy haha, could easily stand up on the ski to get better leverage over the fish but snapper/dhu are easy enough just sitting 🎣😎 I only fish fairly light gear so I don’t go super hard on the fish anyway. But yes super enjoyable getting big fish from small boat/ski 🤙🏼

Yellow rod is an Abrolos tackle “mcpaddle” rod. Love that thing & that has a 5000 size Saragossa on it with 30lb braid.
Other one is a NS BLACK HOLE PE3 with a 4000 size stradic with 20lb braid also a great inshore/snapper combo but that reel has seen better days haha had a few years of mistreating now 🤣🎣✅
