I'm doing one like this but I'm going to try to take 3-4 inch's off the rear fender. Not sure if I can yet. I'm learning how to paint metal, hot metal, aluminum, chrome, and I'm not sure what the rear wheel is made of, Stainless steel??? Any advice from anyone would be appreciated!!!

I want to replace the standard rear turn signals on my 1987 honda magna with something like you have on yours. Any help you can suggest in what I may have to modify to install them?
It doesn't sound as good as you think with the baffles removed, and you'll be stuck with that new sound. If you get aftermarket you'll have a properly tuned sound that accentuates deep tones and hides sharp sounds. Otherwise, drill the rivets out from around the exhaust final exit. The final tube is tack welded to a plate inside. It will probably take lots of pulling and jiggling. Your baffles may be harmed in the process, but I would still save them.
