Hi! I am a Sterling Ink user. I use the goal-setting pages to list the yearly renewals that we have - insurance, subscriptions, etc. Then on the (I covered up the words) next pages with months, I use this to track pain and the coordinating months to the left, I write doctor appointments and information I want to discuss with them. On top of the month listings where I track pain, I write doctor appointments. I really like using these pages. I like looking at a glance to see renewals and then my medical tracking.
I am loving my Sterling Weeks. New for me. I tried the Hobo cousin last year and I liked it but i didn't use the daily pages and feel like I wasted my planner. Excited this year to see how I use all those pages in the back!
i’ve tried both the TWSBI Eco in fine and extra fine and i’ve found that they’re not as thin as i would like no matter what planner i’m in- and i’ve tried them in both the B6 Common Planner, the Hobonichi Weeks, and the A6 HON. i think it’s just the way they’re made, honestly; i much prefer Pilot’s fountain pens in terms of how thin their nibs are.
I love you planning style, simple yet (IMO) very aesthetically pleasing. I'm also in my Sterling Ink era, I am using a system of 6 planners/notebooks from them this year and 2 are the Weeks size. So far I really love my SI planners. I started a YT channel recently, and posted a video where I go in depth about how I'm using each book. But I have the A5 for my reading journal, the B6 for my catchall planner, a B6 notebook to be my planner companion, the passport to be a line a day memory keeper, a horizontal Weeks as my writing planner, and a vertical Weeks as my social media planner. Hope you're enjoying and settling into your planners. And enjoy your fireplace 🔥
N1 = Similar to Standard Size Travelers Notebook N2 = Similar to Weeks of Hobonichi H = Horizontal V = Vertical N1V = N1 Standard Vertical Weekly N1H = N1 Standard Horizontal Weekly N2H = Weeks Horizontal Weekly N2V = Weeks Vertical Weekly Love the video! Also, unlike the Hobonichi Weeks, where they're still staying in the original Tomoe River Paper (not Sanzen), Sterling Ink planners are fully produced with Sanzen TR paper. That might be contributing to the weirdness initially.
im using the sterling ink weeks! so far, i love it! however, i did prefer the hard cover of my hobo weeks. Also, i got the vertical weeks, and im struggling. I thought i would love it. Using the horizontal layout in the hobo weeks took some getting used to because i had always used vertical. But after using the weeks for a year, i got so used to the layout that im struggling going back 😂
Julie, the ink in your TWSBI Eco could be the culprit of the thick lines. What ink are you using? I would try using other inks before giving up on that pen in the CP. 😊
New Sterling ink user here! Initially I intended to use the weeks size (excited not to have the weeks yellow paper and quotes anymore... and those cover colours I never really liked) but then I ended up buying the Sterling ink standard TN size off a destash and I am loving it. Just like a hobo weeks on steroids lol I love a bit of negative space. Your video reminded me I completely ignored the goal setting pages, maybe I'll go have a look, especially given that it is my personal/shop planner...
I got the Sterling Ink version of the weeks this year also. But then Dec 23 I decided to order a Cousin and so I’m not sure I should have gotten it. Oh well - live and leave !
Stick the Muji ink in your Sarasa pen. It's amazing. Also, try the 0.38 mm Muji pen. I'm finding that super fine pens are making me very happy on the S-TRP.
When I started using my N2 I started off with a TWSBI extra fine and for me it was still too thick. I didn't like it. I wanted to cuz Ive always wanted a fountain pen. Now Im using a uni jet stream 0.5 and it's working.
Did I know you were in Texas?! I think theres a handful of TX plantubers now, would be so cool to do a meetup! 2021 was roooough. Still refer to it as "The Snowpocolypse". It looks like this year itll be cold but no snow, so hopefully the grid doesn't crumble this time 🤞🤞
I am here for the planner chat and chaos and Loki 🥰😂 Thanks for keeping it real, Julie. I always look forward to your videos! Also, I did not get a Sterling Ink planner because I didn't like the way the paper behaves with my fountain pen ink 😞 the new Sanzen TRP has not been treating me well 😢
If you have a canon ivy, go to collages, page 4 and there is one with 4 boxes that perfect for book covers! If you go back a couple of videos to my photo printing video, I show you there how to do it 🤗
Love the rearrangement of the habit tracker. I’m always so annoyed with not having the words aligned, and it’s such a simple fix. Definitely stealing this one! 😂
“I am not some people.” 😂😂 Had to pause and comment-I am trying to not be “some people” because I think that repetitive habit tracking across multiple planners helps me be more consistent & successful! Or at least that’s my theory 🤣
Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. BTW is there any way you can post a video daily? I go through withdrawals on your current schedule, lol. Just love you videos!

definitely the plan for us within the next year!

oh thank you for the ideas! that's super helpful!
I enjoy watching your videos so much--when you used stickers and the way you do it now. Many, many blessings.

Casually listening and hearing a P&W shoutout 🥰😘
everyone should experience it!
I love your chatty plan with me videos!

Thank you so much!
Yes, I live here in Texas, and it was really bad.
Yea it was bad that year. Praying that doesn’t happened again. Felt like we were in a movie trying to survive the cold! 😂
I was just watching some videos about it and OMG! 🙏🏼 we don’t have a part two!
Yay! A sterling ink planner & in Texas! 🙌🙌 I’m in the B6 but contemplating using the Weeks next year. ❤
N1 = Similar to Standard Size Travelers Notebook
N2 = Similar to Weeks of Hobonichi

Love the video! Also, unlike the Hobonichi Weeks, where they're still staying in the original Tomoe River Paper (not Sanzen), Sterling Ink planners are fully produced with Sanzen TR paper. That might be contributing to the weirdness initially.
Omg thank you! I was shocked at how different my fountain pen was on it and that explains why! Thank you again 🫶🏼

The vertical weeks looks so cool but I knew it wasn’t for me 🤣

It’s definitely the pen. I have three fountain pens with the same Archive ink and this one writes differently than the others.

Julie, you have the most infectious laugh.. I love it!!
Oh thank you!

HI Julie hope all is well. How did you print out the book stickers. Thank you

Great idea!
I just found your channel 😊 love your office need some inspiration for mine can you do an office tour

it's crazy how thick the ink comes out. I had to go back to my jet pens order make sure I ordered the right fountain pen hahahah!
Did I know you were in Texas?! I think theres a handful of TX plantubers now, would be so cool to do a meetup!
2021 was roooough. Still refer to it as "The Snowpocolypse". It looks like this year itll be cold but no snow, so hopefully the grid doesn't crumble this time 🤞🤞
keeping all of my fingers crossed! Yes I'm just outside the Dallas area!
So can we talk about that cover !!!!! Love it
Isn’t it gorgeous?!
I am here for the planner chat and chaos and Loki 🥰😂 Thanks for keeping it real, Julie. I always look forward to your videos!
Also, I did not get a Sterling Ink planner because I didn't like the way the paper behaves with my fountain pen ink 😞 the new Sanzen TRP has not been treating me well 😢
I'm hearing so many mixed reviews on the new paper!
Ooh How did you get the book images so small and all the same size?! I love that.
If you have a canon ivy, go to collages, page 4 and there is one with 4 boxes that perfect for book covers! If you go back a couple of videos to my photo printing video, I show you there how to do it 🤗
@@JuliesPlans I don't. I have the Kodak Zink printer.
Love the rearrangement of the habit tracker. I’m always so annoyed with not having the words aligned, and it’s such a simple fix. Definitely stealing this one! 😂
right? I was like why wasn't I already doing this lol
Where did you get the pencil case
“I am not some people.” 😂😂 Had to pause and comment-I am trying to not be “some people” because I think that repetitive habit tracking across multiple planners helps me be more consistent & successful! Or at least that’s my theory 🤣
What size Randidotplans icons are you using mini, tiny or large?
I went with tiny!
Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. BTW is there any way you can post a video daily? I go through withdrawals on your current schedule, lol. Just love you videos!
Do you have link for the stickers for tracking sleep
no link but they are from Randi dot plans on Etsy!
If I buy the Cream ECO, I could get the EF and we could trade.
That grid thing suckedddddddd. Houston was NOT READY. It was 70 one day and 19 the next 🥴
oh my goodness! that's a HUGE temp change!
