- Sky News host James Macpherson discusses a Tweet from UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer which condemned only one side of the rioters in the UK.
“The post from the prime minister only aggravates the situation,” Mr Macpherson said.
“You’ve got white Brits predominantly who feel like they are being pushed out by migrants.
“Then, feeling that when you read something like that from the prime minister, concern seemingly on one side, only aggravates the feelings that led to this violence, which, as you said, is unacceptable.”
It’s amazing how Starmer cannot define what a woman is, but can define “Far right” straight away

I'm not pro mass immigration but to be fair the immigrants are doing the jobs the Brits won't do so immigration is pretty essential to keep our economy going. The problem is the previous conservative government were not processing asylum claims properly and so the immigrants were put up in hotels which cost a fortune. They aren't allowed to work until their claims are processed.

@@victoria2509-d1h it's a temporary fix for the economy. The jobs are low income so they don't contribute and will be topped up with UC , housing benefit, free dental care, free health care. Take a look at ONS.
@victoria2509-d1h The jobs they are currently doing would still begrudgingly be done by native Brits if there were no migrants to take those jobs. Only difference is instead of working for 5 or 10 pounds an hour you'd have to double it to incentivize people to work that job, so higher quality of life for the natives and the nation.

Starmer invoked a "Standing army of specialised police offers" or STASI rather than de-escalating the situation. I'm in the UK and IMO these are the main issues:
1) Failure to properly handle illegal immigration.
2) Failure to sensibly control the quantity & quality of people who legally come to the UK and ignoring the associated issues. E.g. Higher crime, cost of property, average wage drops.
3) Two tiered policing. This can be different treatment at protests. Police backing away from certain groups rioting. Christian street preachers arrested. Police turning up at the door of someone with the wrong opinion who posted a "mean" tweet.
4) Failing to deal with Islamism. This includes the pro-Palestine protests and also covering up apparently terror related murders and claiming that they were caused by mental health.
5) Allowing certain groups to isolate themselves from society.
6) Perception that resources are focussed on illegal immigrants rather than indigenous population.
7) People with perfectly reasonable views angry at being labelled as far-right.

We have been ignored. We have been called racist & are, apparently, all far right activists. We've had the same crimes here in the US, we shouldn't have to fear immigration and asylum seekers. If it's done properly everyone should be checked, held in isolation for two weeks and inoculated. Not only has crime risen but we've had cases of measles popping up that's been almost eradicated. They tear up their identification with no way to check criminal records, that should get them a one way ticket home.

One of my best friends is a Bulgarian migrant living near the Heathrow airport. Brits are patient folk, takes a lot for them to snap. When we voted for Brexit, it was because we would have control of our borders. However, that has not happened because we are still a member of the European Human Rights Commission which seems to work wonders for all the undocumented folk wanting to stay in UK. We also recently discovered that no small boats were ever returned to France (with their human cargo) by our coastguard under the previous Conservative leadership. We were led to believe the Rwanda project would solve our asylum seekers problem, but that never materialised and also cost the tax payer £270 million. The Labour Govt then decides it wants to stop giving winter fuel allowance to some pensioners. Then we witnessed a video showing the UK police been attacked in manchester airport by ethnic minority folk, and then a high ranking British military officer been badly attacked by ethnic minority man, and then a group of children been attacked (sadly 3 of the children died) by an ethnic minority teenager. That is why folk finally snapped!!! It was a culmination of many things. We have witnessed two tier policing in the process. Two teir Starmer has certainly divided this country.
